My Local Walmart, Arby's, Wendy's, Subway all Closed: No Staff!

Are private businesses required to do that by the government (or do they get incentives, grants, etc.)or is it just one of those sick new things Whites have chosen to do in majority?

Just hired 4 people at work. Directive from head office in the US - NO WHITIES, we were supposed to focus on hiring blacks, but none applied, probably because it's an industry that doesn't attract many black people. We got 250 applications from white people several of them with passion and experience in the industry, 20 hispanics, 20 asians and a girl from Russia. The only people I saw as qualified were some of the white people including the Russian girl and one of the hispanics, but we ended up hiring 2 hispanics, 1 asian and we hired one of the white people (we expect to get berated over this from up the chain of command). I don't think they get diversity kick backs from the Canadian government, but word on the street is that they do get a kick back in the US for every diversity hire.

They get special treatment under the guise of "inclusion". Soon I will be able to claim minority status lmao. These middle Easterners and Africans breed like rabbits.

Employment equity, as defined in federal Canadian law by the Employment Equity Act (French: Loi sur l’équité en matière d’emploi), requires federal jurisdiction employers to engage in proactive employment practices to increase the representation of four designated groups: women, people with disabilities, Aboriginal peoples, and visible minorities.[1] The act states that "employment equity means more than treating persons the same way but also requires special measures and the accommodation of differences".[2]

The act requires that employers remove barriers to employment that disadvantage members of the four designated groups. The term reasonable accommodation is often used for the removal of such barriers to employment. Examples of employment barriers are wheelchair inaccessible buildings, or recruitment through word-of-mouth only. Employers are also required to institute positive policies for the hiring, training, retention, and promotion of members of the designated groups. Examples of positive policies include recruitment in Aboriginal communities, job advertisements in minority-language newspapers, or an apprentice program directed toward people with disabilities.

I am technically retired, but I would love a part time job. But if I have to mask up I am not working. I can't see or breathe wearing a mask. I wonder how many others are in this same position.

The Southern slaveman would rather go out of business than pay $15/hr. Hold the line... diamond hands.

It's been building up to this... maybe a living wage doesn't sound so bad to you guys anymore?

The whole minimum wage sector has burn out. If you don't force the people to pay a living wage... this is what happens.

Tierd of see good people working 2 - 3 jobs to pay for the same nessecities... as the rest of the world... I see them.

I know most of GLP was against the living wage, due to the egoic competitive nature of the insecurity they feel inside... but maybe people will start realizing... $15/hr would get a lot of these people back up on their OWN feet instead of unemployment.
