Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73888412 Some of the restaurants are having to close on the weekends because they dont have workers. I have never seen this before. And, it isnt like it is something that gradually started to happen. It started happening all at once. um this thread might actually be interesting if you all have county and state, kind of meaningless without that |

The whole minimum wage sector has burn out. If you don't force the people to pay a living wage... this is what happens. Tierd of see good people working 2 - 3 jobs to pay for the same nessecities... as the rest of the world... I see them. I know most of GLP was against the living wage, due to the egoic competitive nature of the insecurity they feel inside... but maybe people will start realizing... $15/hr would get a lot of these people back up on their OWN feet instead of unemployment. |

The reason I decided to post (even though this has been going on for about 2 weeks) is because we went to Subway last night and their new hours close at 8pm...8pm on a Fri night. I feel bad for restaurants that have to close during prime hours like weekends and busy times of the day. |

It's not a living wage when the business owner needs to lay off half of the staff in order to pay the other workers $15 an hour and all your Marxist BS/AOC bullshit is going to lead to the complete automation/robotization of retail and restaurants. |

Hold the line... diamond hands. Quoting: Uncle Gintel Even $15 an hour won't make people get off unemployment. It would, it's only $300 week man for the federal help. Fuck the southern republicans. |

What would give us higher wages is if we stopped importing so many immigrants, especially illegals. They drive wages down. Anyone who wants immigration at high levels like we has wants to suppress wages. |

Fuck the southern The government forced businesses to close for a plandemic now you want the government to tell Black business owners what to pay their workers meanwhile Central Americans will work for much less than $15 an hour and are pouring over the border (you can thank AOC, Kamala and Biden). Been like this 2 months now. political correctness is a doctrine.... fostered by a delusional, illogical minority...... and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end. |

Get people used to living off the government, stores start shutting down due to no workers, economy goes south still, but everyone is happily getting that "free" money. Places here are already begging for workers. Big corporations will stay open while smaller mom and pop stores disappear. Once everyone is used to getting their money and spending it at the big box store, guess what...no vax, no money. Small business are gone, so you can't get a job earning your own money unless it's one of the bigger corporations, but you have to be vaxed to work there. It's all tied to the vax. Oh, and the kicker is that the government winds up getting the money back by making taxes higher. Socialism is here people. Its happening. Anonymous Retrocity User ID: 70207709 United States 05/08/2021 08:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | CVS is the biggest drug dealer inside the USA. Do you think they are lacking for employees? Fucking hamburgers oh yeah, like, did your family really need to sit down inside wendy's? Fuck no, you just got addicted to eating in a social setting like the brady bunch all sat down together. We destroyed the brady bunch era, they wanted the opposite of goodness, so you miss your wendy's atmosphere, but it never meant shit. Drive thru, heh, driving itself lacks any life when the vehicles they make, have no soul. I'd rather drive a VW bus from the old days than any fuckin car made today. I think of those poor bastards inside factories making kindles, fucking nets on the roof so they can't kill themselves. "Employers". |
