We are currently in Cobb County, GA.

Everything was closed, with the exception of the Taco Bell drive thru, last night when we went out to get some food at 9:30 on a Friday night in a Metro Atlanta county.

I ate 7 tacos and now I feel like shit.

People need to go back to having independent family farms. At this point you'd have to tear down all the corporate chain businesses and bust up all the concrete to get to a lot of the farm land. Then, maybe go to war with China because they own a lot of the farm land not built on.

And outsourced to shitty Indian techs on top of that lmao

Years ago it was called affirmative action. Beyond being forced to hire minorities you would see fire and police depts where to be promoted to sergeant a white candidate had to score 96 on the exam and other non whites needed like an 82. Interesting enough, you would typically find the white candidates capable of scoring 96 yet some of the non whites still struggled to get to 82.

The premise was that diversity was good. Personally, I believe the correct approach would be to look at the demographics where the position was being hired for. If a town/city was 70% white and 30% non white than you should see roughly the same composition for the employee base. Not always, but for the most part that would make sense. Of course you need to have the correct mix of QUALIFIED candidates for that to work.

What's messed up is no one screams "diversity" with companies like the NBA. The NBA covers the US, if you want to be picky you could isolate demographics for each state the NBA is in. I think you would find somewhere around 75% white 15% black and 10% other.

If diversity is important than NBA players should be 75% white, 15% black and 10% other.


Anyhow, the media, and politicians really drive home the poor minority, cant compete on merits narrative and big business laps it up.

Most blacks I know are insulted that politicians and media are forcing companies to do this because when they achieve anything people will not look at them and say, that individual excelled through hard work and determination, they will often be viewed as receiving some help from whitey because they were not capable on there own.

Honestly, it really is insulting to blacks.

I feel bad complaining because you are right, 3120 for doing nothing is not bad. I don't feel guilty about it, my taxes over the years have been significant and now it's time I get some back.

With that said, we lived pretty large (we being my wife more than me) we also took on to much debt where I needed about 7k a month to keep everything working. I knew over the years I had developed a pretty wide range of skills that would always be in demand. When the ability to secure contracts on my own took a big hit in 2019 I had to work for someone else and that made me nervous knowing that as I aged and remained white that at some point the whites working for these big companies would do anything to stay in their positions, so instead of companies saying no, we will not hire just because the media tells us blacks can't compete, we will hire the best candidate.

This could old stop if those captains of industry said they were going to follow MLK dream and hire based on the content of character and not color of skin.

Whitey bad - oh well.

Side note, interesting how they now call years of hard work, long hours, perseverance white privilege.

I have called some creditors and told them I will not be paying my bill this month, I will be using my white privilege instead. Actually had one phone agent ask me to hold so they could check with their manager how to do that.

I make 22 an hour at a grocery store. I'm a 40 hour a week regular associate. I drive a brand new cadillac payed off with cash and just bought a 3 bedroom house with a 2 car garage. I hav we zero debt except for my mortgage which is only 27 percent of my income.All I hear is a bunch of crying lazy entitled fuckwits who are probably shitty lazy workers. I'm making it just fine on a single income if ud stop being a victim you could go places. Instead u cry about being a slave instead of doing something productive.

Same here in Croatia, most stores and other professions, security, warehouse, nurses, etc... are understaffed and tired at the same time unemployment has never been higher.

self-interest. Businesses with low wage business models are obviously having trouble finding people. One thing I have noticed is that those businesses used to hire young inexperience workers just breaking into the workforce. Now seeing a lot of adults in those positions. Where are the young people working? youtube perhaps? Maybe they don't work that's why they have time to riot, break stuff and set fires. Maybe why too they have so much college tuition debt since they take out loans instead of working their way through like we used to do? Not really sure just trying to understand what in the hell is going on.

My unemployment claim was denied, and I have to pay back everything they gave me.
