very carefully
Christians have had to face and realize their own sins, and feel compelled to try and help others as well.

This chant of Holier than thou is wrong and is taught by others making you think what is cool or acceptable to them.

The thought of "believe as i do" is strongly in an unbelievers life, because they feel they will be ridiculed by their friends.

Every falsehood a unbeliver weilds, is merely a reflection of the obstacles that unbeliever must face from his very own peers.

Unbelievers are the true followers, they are dedicated to fear of what other people think of them.

And because of this, they are ashamed of themselves, but wall themselves up to feel comfortable and safe, assuring themselves with rationality and laughter.

Which is insanity!

They are fondant. I supported them on the bear ears I cut off, which were covered in plastic. Then when they'd dried a bit, I just propped them up on cotton balls. They'll dry more over night and that way they'll stay up.

Re: For those who doubt the apostle paul
There is no Yahweh. There is no beast who requires sacrifices.
 Quoting: Sandi_T

Yahweh is not a name, it's a title, and it's Phoenician in origin. The concept is similar to your concept of God and is far more advanced than you give it credit for. It means "he who causes to exist"; contrary to popular belief and propaganda passed around in some circles, YHWH is not a volcano-god and does not represent ejaculation or anything similar... The root idea of the word itself is "to live". It basically is consciousness itself and is still a complete mystery to all religions and sciences...

The "10 commandments" aren't commandments at all. Whoever started Judaism stole them from the COMMITMENTS of the Priests of the Book of the Dead.
 Quoting: Sandi_T

Not true...

Since we all know the 10 commandments....

Spell 125 of the Book of the Dead, contrary to the Book of Exodus, contains a moral code represented in a form of Negative Confession that the dead person has to recite when he descends to the hall of the Two Truths. He shall say:

"Hail to thee, great God, Lord of the Two Truths. I have come unto thee, my Lord, that thou mayest bring me to see thy beauty. I know thee, I know thy name, I know the names of the 42 Gods who are with thee in this broad hall of the Two Truths . . . Behold, I am come unto thee. I have brought thee truth; I have done away with sin for thee. I have not sinned against anyone. I have not mistreated people. I have not done evil instead of righteousness...

I have not reviled the God.
I have not laid violent hands on an orphan.
I have not done what the God abominates . . .
I have not killed; I have not turned anyone over to a killer.
I have not caused anyone's suffering . . . I have not copulated (illicitly); I have not been unchaste.
I have not increased nor diminished the measure, I have not diminished the palm; I have not encroached upon the fields.
I have not added to the balance weights; I have not tempered with the plumb bob of the balance.
I have not taken milk from a child's mouth; I have not driven small cattle from their herbage . . .
I have not stopped (the flow of) water in its seasons; I have not built a dam against flowing water.
I have not quenched a fire in its time . . .
I have not kept cattle away from the God's property. I have not blocked the God at his processions."

It's all stolen. Many of the "great wisdoms" in the bible are simply stolen from other cultures and then laid claim to.

The bible contains some truth, certainly. But few about God, and certainly not the "name" of God.
 Quoting: Sandi_T

Many of the "great wisdoms" in ancient mystery-religions contain some truth, certainly. Everything which exists as well as every process which governs the fate of 'things which exist' inherently contains the truth about God. To ignore this fact is simply and completely illogical.

There aren't many "elohim" because there is a single Being or Entity who created everything and is in everything and around everything and through everything. And because it is ONE, it doesn't need a name.
 Quoting: Sandi_T

"Elohim" is a a singular being in plural sense... If you really want to get into ancient creation-myth of the various cultures it's all the same damn thing really, the archons, angels, pantheons, etc... Logically, for a unified model to work, or even just a Biblical model, the Elohim must represent a group of living creatures which are actually the body of God. These beings are not like us, and when I say 'being' I do not exactly mean living creature in the sense that you and I are people with physical bodies, a being is just any-thing (even a concept) which can be said to 'exist'... My current understanding, which could evolve while I'm writing this, the pantheon/angels/deities/archons/etc, are the processes responsible for everything that is and everything that happens... There is a very strict hierarchy up there but it's in the order of consciousness... This is mimicked in the mystery-religions which have tried to make images of the heirarchies in 'heaven', down here on earth--this is where we get policy and government, empiredom... The thing is that 1/3 of the angelic forces are considered 'fallen' by just about every mythos there is...

Names are for identification and differentiation. There is nothing and no one from which to differentiate that which we call "God" or "Source" or "The Infinite Intelligence Which Created Everything" or "The Creator" etc. God doesn't need a name, because there are no others.
 Quoting: Sandi_T

+1

I would agree, if it weren't for the whole problem with the "connections" to the name "Jesus" which include the sacrifice to save us from the monster business.

MPD? Sorry, drawing a mental blank here and feeling kinda silly about it. Multiple Personality Disorder? What conclusions were you curious about from me on the subject? Whether it's real, or...? I haven't really mentioned my view on it because I am pretty certain I don't have it. I have no memory gaps, which is one of the major indicating factors in it.
 Quoting: Sandi_T

Sorry, I meant NDE's.

What bothers me is when, even given absolute proof, they STILL refuse to acknowledge their unconscious or even mindless actions, words, or manipulations.

Most people "say one thing" but "mean another" to such a degree that I imagine any kind of outside "entity" looking in might easily fail to understand what's really being said AT ALL.

Many "turns of phrase" actually don't make any sense. Yet they are accepted without the bat of an eyelash.
 Quoting: Sandi_T

All human languages should be wiped out. I make this statement in 100% faith: If people could learn to speak correctly, it would change the whole makeup of the universe. In fantasy-land where I live, when one person is convinced of the truth, they only must speak it and it 'is'... When 'that Guy' returns with 'the Elohim', things are going to change around here, when someone who is unquestionably in charge of everything in the universe comes back and says that our system of government and economics is flawed and should be wiped out, it will be wiped out immediately as no-thing will have a question about the validity of that statement and thus the concept will never be manifested again and only be a memory of pain and suffering, and in that way it will burn forever in eternal torment... But who cares? 'evil policy' and 'evil ideas' are nothing but ideas anyways so let 'em burn!
Total Protonic Reversal...

June 29th is the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul.

I believe this ****623 person is a "catholic" which means they most likely pray to Paul. So, that is a silly question.

What I believe cancels this thread is it's lack of integrity. You ban and ignore(top page 14) some people who argue against your OP, yet you fawn over someone else who has pretty much taken a chainsaw to your whole faith.

You probably have a boner because this thread has 20 some pages. Really, be honest.. it's about you. I recall back many pages you addressing the mighty "burach isham" on, how is it you get threads with so many pages, replies...? my threads always seem to fizz out and die.

Hard to believe people still buy into this mumbo jumbo.

Council of Nicea told you what to believe, bunch of grumpy old men with an agenda. Of course they left out all the contraversial gospels which would lead people to think for themselves. Oh well, believe what you want to believe, when your dead, you are dead brother, fini.

Ever go to a Catholic Mass, tons of fun, it is torture.

And yes I was a Catholic, now I'm just a free thinking human.

He knows me. He doesn't know the other guy. People tend to tolerate things from people they know and have had good interactions with that they won't tolerate from other people.

That's just human nature, whether it's right or wrong, it's still the way we are. I doubt you are any different.

was that neccessary?

well, this thread is dead. its been dead for a while now.

its way off topic and is inhabited by me and other lurkers with nothing better to do than ramble and look at really neat cakes sandi makes.

the catholic guy keep popping up bless his heart. and quit trying to make me feel bad for a guy who taunts more than contributed, he is a troll. sandi on the other hand provides chapter and verses and she expects chapter and verse in return. do you not recall she as much as told me i failed to provide them?

notice also, she doesnt get beligerant unless she is provoked? guess not, everyone was so busy attacking her. i'll tell you a secret, you will reap what you sow with her.

and i already stated before in this thread, that its apparent that the answers are what the seekers take with them, i found answers, but its apparent the answers i found were only for me. no one else cares or wants to understand them. i also freely admitted that the answers was for my own growth. i have also stated i believe, in daniels presence, that im not here to "save" anyone, that my time here is strictly for my own spiritual growth. around the turns of the century, i used to debate alot in a chatroom, with the bible, and i was alright and held my own in a debate but after i was gone for years and years, upon entering a debate here, the answers werent there or i didnt know where to find them. my mind was void. if you dont use it, you lose it. yes, i am here for myself.

why did you come? was you thinking to find a prophet? one of the two end times witnesses? a false deity? i am none of those things. i am simply me.

it is my opinion that although i may have influence with some, it is beyond me to save anyone.

i can plant seeds, but i cant make them take root and grow. perhaps one day, as someone is walking down their path in life they will come upon an instance and then recall what i said? and then maybe they will then understand what i said here? because we all grow, but we all grow differently. and the revelation may not come till the person in question needs it. it would be curious, wonder if they would want to talk to me then...........?

and yes, the thread would have completely died, but theres people who like to lurk and talk. and people who keep coming back :) but if it wasnt here, it would be on another thread. me and daniel have butchered many threads so far :)

and dont fear the chainsaw, if your that weak in your faith, then you shouldnt be here. the only thing she can really do is make you look in your bible for answers, God forbid! and the only thing this will do is make you stronger in your faith. and maybe use a concordance. and actually read the bible!

there isnt anything she has been able to throw at me that has totally stumped me, but as i said, the answers are not neccessarily for all.

hardtruth can be pretty bad, he is a lot different in his approach. again, he knows his bible and what he is talking about.

it just depends what your attitude is really, if you enter into the ring with a defeatist attitude, then you already lost.

but your suppose to be like david taking on goliath.

they seem big and scary, but you have the word of God on your side. and its answers arent neccessarily for all, but they are there for the reader.

Oh gee, Council of Nicea, what was that, oh any gospel written by a woman was left out. So like who wrote the bible? Huh, perhaps before you buy into all the bologna, who should find out who approved the words there in. Oh gee, Council of Nicea, what was that, oh any gospel written by a woman was left out. Oh why can't catholic priest marry, oh because the wife may retain the property and wealth of her husband, and not the Vatican, go figure. Fucking pigs, pig cake is great, fits the thread entirely. Fucking catholic shit heads, ever go to the toilet at the vatican, dirty smelly crap, and no toilet paper, sinks don't even work. Yet the sit on priceless art work, worth gazillions. Gayness, pedophelia, what a religiion. Yes I was a Catholic, no more.

how does it cancel this thread? do you consider paul a false apostle? or an apostle that the Lord put into service?
 Quoting: Sword0fGideon

 Quoting: eh steve

was that neccessary?

why did you come? was you thinking to find a prophet? one of the two end times witnesses? a false deity? i am none of those things. i am simply me.

and dont fear the chainsaw, if your that weak in your faith, then you shouldnt be here. the only thing she can really do is make you look in your bible for answers, God forbid! and the only thing this will do is make you stronger in your faith. and maybe use a concordance. and actually read the bible!

 Quoting: Sword0fGideon

no... but the boner comment made my point. sorry

the only thing you have talked about thus far is how unfair the troll was treated.

if he was so wonderful, why wouldnt he give chapter and verse?

and i understand there is stiving amoungst people to either prove or disprove a point, but is the heckling really neccessary? does every time he writes something have to be to provoke?

his form and style is reminescent of certain people i dislike.

as for wether paul was an apostle or not, i already stated my case and even shared the revelation i found.

no one either understood or accepted it.

the answer was apparently only for me........

Which is insanity!

again, in acts 15 both peter and james were teaching the same things.

in galations 2:1-2, paul is giving an account of his doctrine to a council, and in verse 6, his doctrine is approved as nothing else was added unto him......

This is bigger than "Paul" it's about teaching you religious freaks that you've been brainwashed by a piece of fiction with the help of some very evil people, good luck with that, I learned and saw it close up. Jesus was a man, that's about it, a good one at that. Wake up Ok.

Paul never failed that test. You only interpret him as failing because you listen to other peoples words instead of judging Paul by his own words (and the Torah) in context to whom he was addressing.

If you want to know what Paul believed instead of taught, read Acts 24-26

P.S. A messianic site called "Jesus's words only" sounds a bit fishy to me.

it's not about you, yet you make every post about you. I guess because you started the thread? whatever, carry on... I'm done.

oh please! the only reason the troll comes up is because others bring him up.

and how is every post about me?

the truth is, you want to be argumentative and combative.

and are trying to for some reason provoke??

i take it the troll was your best friend???

do you feel lonely?

perhaps this is a wonderful opportunity to expand your horizons and make better friends.......

So like who is going to heaven, the Jew, the Catholic, Lutheran, Hindu, Budha, Jehova Witness, Baptist, Muslim, Russian Orthodox, Born Again, maybe none.

Perhaps people with common sense will be the ones, who bought into none of it. Think about Jesus and think about a typical Sunday Service, is that really what he wanted, not!

Stop going to church, throw off the yoke.
