The daemon itself is only a process, what it evokes is what is called an "unclean spirit"... The daemon is part of the parent process, or the psyche as a whole, it's built in to the DNA and formed while you are in the womb. When specific criteria is met, the Parent Process (you) will create a child-process (another personality) which will then terminate the parent process and completely take over for a period of time until the process is terminated... The child-process/personality is an auto-defence mechanism...
