By fleeing in a deadly weapon he signed his own death warrant. If he wanted to save his life he should have complied with every order given to him. Fleeing without any direct threat to anyone isn't justification to shoot up a car and the occupants. WTF is wrong with you? That was NEVER considered "justified shooting" in America and it still isn't. Never mind that "contempt of cop" isn't a justified shooting either. Some of you seem like you're BEGGING for a police state. Ridiculous. The police have long been the accuser, jury, judge and, in this case, executioner. Nobody should have that much power. Driving away? Put the guns away, get in the police car and either follow the car or give it up and let someone else take care of it. And when the lifelong violent felon crashes into a family on their way to church killing the parents and their 3 kids, but the perp walks away with minor injuries, I supposed that’s just acceptable collateral damage?
