Standing your ground to some of you morans is antagonizing the cop. Be polite, answer as little as possible. Don't incriminate yourself. Only answer direct questions about your identity.

Being overly polite or nice to the police will NOT influence them in your behalf. For instance calling them "sir" or scraping and bowing.

It will do the exact opposite. It makes them think you have something to hide. Its how they think. If they are polite with you and dont ask any questions not related to the reason you were stopped, polite behavior in to return the respect. But otherwise, fuck 'em. If they begin to interrogate you thats an infringement on your right to privacy and you should in no uncertain terms let them know you're not that guy.

There are thousands of videos on youtube where people did just that and were jacked up anyway. Never be polite to a person who is abusive or oversteps his legal bounds. Let them know you are not a soft target.

Well your cousin is a dumbass and probably works in the office. If you talk to a cop that way when you get pulled over you are 10 more likely to be asked to step out of the vehicle at which point THEY WILL search you.

You are giving them probable cause. Be polite. Maintain eye contact and do not disobey them. Chances are you will be on your way within 15 min assuming you have no warrants.

I've never seen a video where people were polite to the police and were treated poorly. Sure you may get arrested if you are doing something illegal. That will happen. Act a fool and they will probably shoot your ass.

Better to have your day in court and face time than be dead.

You are making the mistake of thinking a cop is just another person, like you. They're not. Generally speaking they have psychological profiles that are abusive, oppressive, and violent, and heir training amplifies those behaviors.
Their training is basically either comply or die. So he first thing you have to do is cut off the demands before they start.

It’s not really that uncommon. In fact, it’s the norm. I, also, have had numerous encounters with police in my life. Not 30, but not 3, either, and the times I was pulled over, I was much younger and dumber and never had a problem. I followed all the rules black parents say they teach their kids during The Talk and never once had a gun pulled on me or got arrested. One of them even gave me a ride home.

I have a buddy who is the classic hothead. He has probably had at least 30 run ins with police, been arrested five times that I know of, and only once did he have a problem. It was in Panama City Beach, he was trashed and belligerent, and he stumbled toward the cop and got tazed for it. Even he admits he deserved it. His case is a study in why tazers are not the end-all-be-all #BLM argues they are as one of the prongs missed and all he got was poked in the chest. Fortunately, that little jab got his attention because if he had kept coming at the cop, he’d probably be dead, and it would have been his own damn fault.

I've been stopped by cops in the town that I live in only three times, and never any other time- though I have been in the car with others when they were stopped. When I was stopped they came over polite saying, Hello, how are you- or something like that. I just say fine and wait for them to say why they stopped me. Once it was because I sped up too fast before a school zone ended and another time I was in the wrong lane to make a turn. I just said, Oh, sorry I didn't know/it was unintentional. They let me go with a warning. When they left they said something like have a nice day or whatever- I just didn't reply because they messed up part of my day by stopping me at all.

The other time I was stopped was really weird. It was 2 or 3 in the morning and they turned a spotlight on me and came over to the window. They said they stopped me because my car tag was rusty or dirty and one character of it was obscure. I thought wth and asked if I could get out and look at it and did I need to replace it. They hemmed and hawed around and said that they really stopped me because there had been robberies in the area and they were keeping a lookout. I thought- crap are they going to want to search my car. I asked what houses had been robbed and said I didn't know of robberies in this neighborhood/my neighborhood. They hemmed and hawed some more and then left. I have no idea...

The testing done on all police is to FIND psychopaths and/or sociopaths. They limit to those who have weak minds and will submit to the so called authority of the State/Government.

This is to protect the State/Government goons from falling victim to their own watch dogs, the last thing they want is cops enforcing the law on them for their crimes against humanity on every level.

The testing, academy training and officer training on the road, as well as disciplinary action taken is set up not for the protection of the public, it is to create unquestioning loyalty to the job and their overlords who sign their paychecks.
