After lunch they go to recess. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80379140 When recess is over they have the kids lineup and take them inside. Today some children were talking when they were in line so they had everyone sit in the sun and wait there at least 5 minutes before they were allowed back inside. My child described it as torture. The children that were still talking were then forced to run a lap around the basketball courts. My question, is this form of punishment ok? My child wasn't even one of the ones talking. I spent 5 minutes outside in the direct sun today and I was sweating hard. But at least I could walk over into the shade if I wanted. 1- pull your kids out of public school, it is a brainwashing indoctrination center and as a GLP member you should know that. I'm homeschooling, it is awesome, do it. 2- how much of a pussy is your kid that running one lap around a basketball court and sitting in the sun is "torture" ? Jesus this world has gotten so fucking soft. Check out this thread for important statistics which have showed (since early summer 2021) that Covid “Vaccine” is more likely to KILL YOU than save you: Thread: COVID JAB statistically more likely to KILL YOU per official CDC DATA. You’re 3.87x more likely to die from the Pfizer vax than save your life!! |

But unfair punishment is a good lesson to learn, don't hang with people that get you caught , even by association. Environmental stresses aside, these types of social contract lessons are what you child needs to learn how to navigate. That was unfair...life is unfair etc...... |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 73016918 United States 09/18/2021 12:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Op…Collective punishment is a classic Soviet technique. They’re conditioning the children to police themselves and to snitch. These schools need to be radically dismantled. They’re full of irredeemably sick people who don’t deserve a check. They deserve to be nailed to the wheel. Go to the school and raise living hell. If you a parent, make these peoples lives unbearable until they are removed or leave. Any thing they do that makes your spider sense tingle, ACT SWIFTLY AND MAKE NOISE. |

Just my opinion, but this is the best of the only redeeming qualities of not home schooling, besides the day care. |

I am not trying to be rude but seriously, WHEN ARE PEOPLE, going to realize that sending your kid to school is basically asking for abuse of your kid. School may have been ok when you were young, but times have changed. These "teachers" and administrators are devils. They hate goodness. They delight in damaging your children and they like to make them suffer. GET THEM OUT! There is no excuse. |

Ok, so by this reasoning, treat kids unfairly. After all, the world is unfair, so that's good for them. You are an idiot. |

User ID: 65121889 United States 09/18/2021 01:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Talking, outside, during recess is not a crime. Kids can talk and form a line at the same time. If they weren't in class and not interrupting instructions being spoken at that moment by the teacher, they shouldn't be having their 1st amendment rights imposed upon. I got in trouble for "talking" all the damn time. Especially when correcting the teacher. Lol. Imagine the effects that can have on a child's social interaction skills when they are trained that communication is a punishable offense? I wish people didn't cause so much of the drama they do. Life is hard enough without power tripping authoritarians waving their dicks everywhere.. The universe is basically an animal. It grazes on the ordinary. It creates infinite idiots just to eat them. Anonymous Coward User ID: 80833944 United States 09/18/2021 01:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This was pre planned out think about it. Quoting: BasiliusValentinus A same type of thing happened around the same grade level. All us kids standing in line waiting to come back in. Recess lines were always ok to speak in sorta like free time so we thought. Next thing we know the 2 largest male staff members..Were plucking us boys out of line for...Talking. We weren't being loud and it was not bad conversation. Typical things like what you going to do today or I just got this comic book type of talk. So they get us to a room shut the door. And then have us stand in line 1 after the other got 3 swats.. Not normal swats these were full force left your ass numb for a day, brought kids to their knees some pissed themselves others shrieked in pain and there were definitely black n blue marks left with the welts. Will never forget it. Surely the punishment did not fit. We we're basically in shock during and afterwards. The thing that threw us off the most was though these guys were brutes. They were our favorites they never were mean. They were idk something else that day. It was done for some malicious reason thats for sure. Happened early 80s. The parents complained so hard that was the year they finally begun to ban corporal punishment. Maybe we were the martyrs. Being a child of the 80s, I really believe there was some serious psychological stuff being done to us back then. 80s were the last gen with no cameras, no easy access to comms. It started changing because the perps could be caught in the act and held accountable. It's a real "big strong man" to beat up a kid. A lot of these teachers, like cops, are drawn to the profession for the sense of control over others. |

Indoctrination centers where they teach obedience to authority is not where your child should be. Indoctrination centers where they crush free spirits is not where your child should be.
