Everywhere else seems to sell what could only be considered as pink slime. Here's a tip: I buy about $40 worth of hamburger (apx. 10 lbs.) then fry it up with onion, pepper and celery. The veggies add bulk. Then I package recipe-sized servings in freezer bags. It's amazing how many meals I can make from 10 pounds of burger. Casseroles, spaghetti, etc. And usually, there are left-overs from each recipe to boot! |
