User ID: 77082640 United States 06/07/2021 10:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This happened in one of my stores when I was in retail. Not a big group like that. But they would take 20 Guess jeans off the rack and run out the front of the store. Half inside job. They would pick the gay sales associate guys and threaten to gang rape him if he didn't cooperate. But this is why Amazon and Walmart delivery will be the only shopping in the future. Last Edited by Agent 99 on 06/07/2021 10:53 PM |

You goofs aren’t cowboys, you’re overweight couch potatoes. dont switch the topic now the OP was about food prices going up not about end of the world You really are a ninny. What kinda GLPer would try to staunch doomsday talk, for a food price bitchfest. Bro, you need some testosterone. |

Strawberry Girl User ID: 79665715 United States 06/08/2021 12:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you haven't started growing your own food, or at least started supplementing your groceries with gardening, you need to learn now. I learned by watching videos and also by experience. This year, I started my first actual garden rather than just growing strawberries here and there. I have a freaking forest out there, and because of that, our grocery prices have not gone up all that much. Thank goodness for that. But we still stock up on flour, sugar, rice, pasta, etc pantry basics, and those are higher in cost. Goodbye, halcyon days... There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened. |

Sam's Club has lower prices and higher quality products. I used to carry both memberships, but Costco went to shit in the past year. The last straw was reducing human cashiers and opening self-checkouts with 20 year old technology (everything has to be taken out of the cart and put on the scale) and being mask Nazi's. User ID: 80357633 United States 06/08/2021 12:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We go to Costco monthly to feed a family of 4 and have for several years. Quoting: Stumpknocker Over the last year, we have spent between $422-$465 per visit. We buy very similar items each time. My wife and I play a little game guessing how much the total will be to pass time while they are ringing us up. Last visit, she guessed 435 and I guessed 475. OUR BILL WAS $769 bucks! I blew a gasket. Things we bought but don't normally buy- Batteries- 1 pack each AA AAA D- $45 bucks Everything else was similar. The highest increases were for beef. Lol i sell batteries in my store.....aa 4 for a buck, aaa 4 for a buck, d 2/$4.... your getting ganked Factory direct Allmax batteries from Amazon. $22 for 100 AAA's. Better than Duracell or Energizer. As others and myself have tested... |

User ID: 80357633 United States 06/08/2021 12:42 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Costco is the only place I trust for ground beef. Everywhere else seems to sell what could only be considered as pink slime. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78239842 Costco went back to using minced finely textured lean beef again, aka pink slime. It comes out something like 96% lean. They add steak trimmings from the store to make the fat content go up. It always tasted weird and nasty to me, no matter how many times I bought it. |

Thanks, I don't think the prices will come down. I can't even imagine when unemployment runs out. We've never had a real famine in the United States... in my lifetime. how about when mortgage forbearance runs out and renters get kicked out for not paying in addition to no more unemployment? By August I bet shit hits the fan. Duncan the destroyer |
