Re: A little Herb Summary vs COVID-19
This thread is pure nonsense

All herbs, vegetables and plant oils don't cure a damn thing

And everybody who pushes these products like Sebi and Robert Morse are all con artists

Detoxing is the biggest scam ever. The liver and kidneys do this on their own. They don't need any help from these toxic supplements (yes they are all toxic to the body), flushes, juice fasts and all this nonsense.

Meat and dairy and eggs are all you need to keep your body in optimum health. I would've laughed if somebody told me this before, until I tried it myself. And it means cutting out all carbs, grains, vegetables, sugars.

There's a reason Agenda 21 is about eliminating meat. There's a reason these satanic Hollywood fuckers push the vegan diet. TPTB know that this is the most malnourishing SLAVE DIET and most detremental.

I agree about meat.

I eat a gluten free, dairy free, soy free diet with very few grains. Lots and lots of meat, beef liver capsules, and collagen (animal hides) every day and have never felt better.

But i disagree about natural remedies. Some work, some dont. You have to try things out for yourself and decide for yourself.

A few that have helped me over the years,
Echinacea
Black Walnut / Wormwood / Clove
Vitamin D
Zinc
Quercetin
others.

Serrapeptase Enzyme - I've been taking 120,000 SPU twice a day

Anti inflammatory, breaks down proteins, prevents abnormal blood clotting.

"Serrapeptase is an important enzyme that supports a range of functions. It can bind itself to alpha-2 macroglobulin, a protein in blood plasma, and travel to the areas of the body where it’s needed most. Interestingly, serrapeptase is the same enzyme that helps silkworms eat their protective cocoon before flying away. Serrapeptase has the distinct ability to digest only non-living tissue allowing the old toxic layers that clog the digestive system and the lining of our arteries to dissolve. This is one reason why it's so good at keeping arterial deposits from building up after heart surgery."

Re: A little Herb Summary vs COVID-19
In this thread, we compile a list of natural remedies from around the world, to treat, support, protect and recover against Coronavirus infection - COVID-19. To strengthen lungs, respiratory system, the immune system and even layout an alternative to avoid Cytokine Storm, caused by COVID-19.

Any additional suggestions, please feel free to share, lets examine it, and I will add to the summary list of herbs, in the 2nd post below

Allow me to start with Indonesia, with thousands of years of practice in using herbal medicine provided by its vast jungles, for example "Jamu": [link to en.m.wikipedia.org (secure)] . People here are experienced to some of the worst viruses making its rounds since many years (dengue fever, malaria, Zika virus, rabies with 100% mortality rate just to name a few).

Supportive herbal treatment, for Virus infections and other diseases (besides going to hospital and modern medicine), is just a way of life here.

Hence maybe one of the reasons why COVID-19, hasn't escalated here as bad as in Europe or USA. Even though, we are practically a neighbour of China with millions of Chinese tourists last December and January visiting, earlier COVID-19 outbreaks (Thailand, Phillipine, Vietnam, Malaysia), overcrowded mega cities, less advanced health care and technology, with many people still living on a couple of $ per day... Time will tell... Maybe its just the sun and humidity factor 1dunno1

Anyway, if you are interested, by all means - read on... You can make many types of drink and tea mixes, essential oils, ground the herb yourself, digest in powder form, etc etc. Couple of recipes and dosage guides in 3rd post below.

Please kindly be mindful though, for potential side effects, overdose, allergies and especially if you are pregnant! Unfortunately i am not able to list side effects.. it would just make the thread to long to read and time consuming to research and update. Your own research about side effects is recommended, or simply drop a line and we could help to check...

My favourite herbs, which we take regularly are ginger and tumeric drinks - proven antiviral and anti-inflammatory and clearing respiratory of my smoked up lungs. Very easy to buy, or even to grow. These herbs are in use since ancient times as medicine, with many healthy benefits! Also, we are regularly drinking green tea and eating a daily spoon of honey and generally just try to eat & drink more health-conscious . Already, I had some good experience (twice during last 3 months) with a nasty flu and cough, that went away in record time (2-3 days, i usually need a week for symptoms to disappear).

I believe in the above measures, for my family and myself, to ward off against COVID-19 and some other diseases. Besides, basic hygiene precautions of course. I am also in the process of ordering a kilogram of cinchona bark, just as precaution in case situation gets downhill, either for my extended family, friends or neighbours - easy and cheap to get here, as Indonesia is the worlds biggest producer of this wonder herb. I think, if the leader of the "free world" says so - it should not be ignored. Heck - even the owner of this forum swears on it. cheers

I strongly believe that for every sickness, nature already prepared the answer loooong in advance... So cheer up, positive thinking and stay healthy!!

Edit to add 1 - Turmeric & Ginger, recommended by a physician, who went through real SHTF in Venezuela and sharing his experience how to survive:
[link to my72.news.blog (secure)]

Edit to add 2 - Cytokine Storm (Immune system overdrive: [link to www.sciencedaily.com (secure)] during severe COVID-19 infection. Some herbs may increase the severity of Cytokine Storm. (for example Elderberry which boosts the immune system, but also increases pro-inflammatory Cytokine production)
Other herbs may decrease the severity of Cytokine Storm (for example turmeric)
 Quoting: Nagabonar666

Elderberry works! My girlfriend had covid and I never got it and I was tested 3 times! I have a shot of it every morning 10mm and 10mm at early evening been doing this for the last 6 yrs...She's a believer now and she takes it everyday...Also a few doctors also belive it's effective....Articles about cytokine storms with this is FALSE

I believe my vapeing of marijuana flower / buds (no e-juice crap) helped prevent it from getting bad in my lungs.

However it was not a cure, it was still a long strange illness. After a 2 month battle with respiratory symptoms it attacked my eye sockets, they got inflamed and crusty, same fiery feeling I had in my nose. My symptoms are mostly gone now, but I can still feel it in my nose and eyes.

KRATOM Having a glass of Kratom tea right now.

1 cup of water to one teaspoon. I prefer yellow strains but can be purchased in different strengths, black being the strongest.

I have copd and as a result, nasty back pain. One cup and I'm good to go for a few hours. I vape cannabis (medicinally legal in my state) which lowers my blood pressure and enables me to not take meds for it.

Great thread!! Properly sourced Kratom is harmless in moderation and a miracle drug for many things that ail you. Only folks with liver problems are cautioned. Have a great day!!

SUMMARY OF HERBS, COLLECTED ON THIS THREAD FROM VARIOUS GLP MEMBERS/ AC'S, TO PROTECT, TREAT & RECOVER from COVID-19 (updating...)

WARNING!!!

Some of the herbs listed here may cause serious side effects and danger to your health, depending on the dosage, length of period taken and other factors such as allergy, sensitivity of certain organs (such as heart, stomach or kidney), wrong method of usage, or if taken with other medicine. Especially during pregnancy caution is advised. I highly recommend to through roughly do your own research and if in doubt, consult with herbal experts or medical professionals first.

Please also make sure to check and to be aware of the legal status of herb, listed for your country, should you decide to obtain it.

PLANTS, ROOTS & SPICES

-CINCHONA BARK, native to Andes Mountains - South America. historically used since hundreds of years as a medicine for Malaria. The bark contains alkaloids, including QUININE and quinidin. CHLOROQUINE & HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE is a synthetically manufactured drug, developed based on the chemical structure of quinine (declared to be a potential cure vs COVID-19 by US President Donald Trump).
Besides its main alkaloid quinine (anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and antimalarial) here are other compounds found in the Cinchona Bark:
Caffeic: antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and antiviral
Chlorogenic: Reduces blood pressure
Protocatechuic p-coumaric acid: A phenolic acid (anticancer) also found in honey
Epicatechin: potent antioxidants, with antiviral, antimalarial and anticarcinogenetic properties.
Triterpene: anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, anti-cancer, helps with regulation of immune function.
Quinovic Acid: Shown to be effective against general inflammatory conditions, and cancer
Anthocyanins: A type of flavonoid with anti-oxidant effects. May offer anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and anti-cancer benefits. To treat high blood pressure, colds, and urinary tract infections.
Cinchonine: An alkaloid, anti-inflammatory, anti-malarial, anti-cancer, may be especially effective to prevent obesity
Liriodenine: antimicrobial, anti fungal, antibiotic.
Cinchophylline: Amoebicidal (used to eradicate the parasitic species of amebae in animals or humans) and Cytotoxic (toxic to living cells)
Proanthocyanidin: May protect the heart and cardiovascular system. They may work as antioxidants. Reduces risk of cancer and other age related problems.
Quinovin: A bitter which increases secretion of gastric juice, thus helps to fight bacterial and virus infection (fever & flu) and increases appetite.
Catechic Tannis: An anti-oxidant flavonoid. Catechins are natural antioxidants that help prevent cell damage and provide other benefits.

*a recipe for Cinchona Bark provided by member "Jake" in third post below.

-TURMERIC (the root of a native Indian plant, spread to South East Asia.) Turmeric's main compound Curcumin is anti-inflammatory, boosts immune system via antioxidant, antiviral and antibacterial properties. It makes it more difficult for viruses to "dock" on human cells. May help to treat lung diseases. In use as effective virus cure and other medicinal uses since thousands of years. For example, in Indian sanskrit it has 53 different names, such as jayanti (one that wins over diseases), jawarantika (which cures fevers), mehagni (killer of fat), vishagni (killer of poison) or shiva (gracious). Turmeric is heavily used as daily kitchen spice across South and South East Asian cultures.

*a recipe for golden turmeric drink provided in third post below

-GINGER (anti-inflammatory, breaks down mucus, improves circulation and respiratory system. Short term it neither reduces nor increases Cytokines production. However, research show that pro-inflammatory Cytokine levels in chronic diseases reduce after 3 months of continuous ginger intake: [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)]
*Ginger Drink Recipe in third post below

-BLACK PEPPER & PEPPERCORN (long term lung tissue builder, clears respiratory system and boosts immunity. Capsaicin, the active ingredient in pepper inhibits pro-inflammatory Cytokine production: [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)]

-KALANCHOE PINATA (a plant native to madagaskar but distributed in many tropical countries, antiviral, antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammaotary, also used to treat respiratory diseases and infections. May be effective at inhibiting all types of pro-inflammatory Cytokine production: [link to www.hindawi.com (secure)]

-TOBACCO (hotly disputed for obvious reasons. I found that much information is suppressed and contra, your own research to make an informed decision is suggested. However, this is an anti-influenza & virus thread, hence I am including this information. Tobacco has several Alkaloids which may have a strong ability to suppress pro-inflammatory Cytokyine overproduction and also reduces neurological inflammation, among them: Nicotine, Harmala, Anatabine, Cotinene)
Lots of information and reference links here: Thread: CoViD-19 Appears to Affect Smokers Less

-MILKWEED(Asclepias is another plant used by native american medicine but also European Pioneers, the root could be used against a wide range of respiratory and lung conditions and may be specifically effective against pleurisy, inflammation of the lining of the lungs. It has varrying degrees of toxicity, and needs an expert forager to harvest. It has many active ingredients including flavonoids. Very little studied scientifically, i could not find an observed Cytokine production effect, however this plant could be very useful during Cytokine storm due its anti-inflammatory and specifically protects lymph nodes and optimizes lymph drainage from the lungs: [link to books.google.co.id (secure)] )

-TONGKAT ALI (E. longifolia is an aphrodisiac plant found in the jungles of south east asia, which has antioxidant, antiviral and anticancerous properties/ treatment for lung cancer. The Alcaloids in this plant successfully keeps Cytokine networks from overproduction of pro-inflammatory Cytokines during septic shock: [link to www.apjtb.org] )

-CHAPARRAL (a desert plant from west america used by native americans, but also ancient chinese, egyptians and assyrians, has lung detox benefits, anti-oxidant, used to treat tuberculosis and may also be useful for neurological diseases. L. tridentata leaves have demonstrated to inhibit pro-inflammatory Cytokine production: [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)] )

-NEEM (a native indian mahogany tree, used in ayurvedic medicine has detoxifying effect, immune booster, supports the respiratory system, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant, may also be used for treatment of cancer and prevents the release of pro-inflammatory Cytokines: [link to www.preprints.org (secure)] )

-ANDROGRAPHIS (some members on this thread swear to its antiviral effectiveness, especially against cold and flu.
Andrographis paniculata
, commonly known as creat or green chireta. Native to India and Sri Langka. Traditionally for the treatment of array of diseases such as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, ulcer, leprosy, bronchitis, skin diseases, flatulence, colic, influenza, dysentery, dyspepsia and malaria, but also upper respiratory infections and potentially HIV infection. It has anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties and downregulates proinflammatory cytokine production: [link to pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)] )

-KRATOM (Mitragyna speciose) is a tropical evergreen tree in the coffee family native to Southeast Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Papua New Guinea). In some countries, the possession of Kratom is illegal due to its opioid effects (including in my country Indonesia where you could get 20 years of jail for possession of it). People use kratom for withdrawal from heroin, morphine, and other opioid drugs, as it effects the same brain receptors as morphine does. In overdoses or chronic use it may be highly dangerous and lethal. However, Kratom has been used in traditional medicine and some people (including several participants on this thread) vouch for its effectiveness and medicinal properties. Scientifically, Kratom does have a total of 30 Alkaloids, among them:
A. Mitragynine: the most abundant alkaloid in Kratom, it has pain-mitigation properties and may increase endurance but may also cause liver problems
B. Hynchophylline and Epicatechin: Anti-inflammatory Agents (Prevents Viruses from attaching to cell walls with their hooks)
C. Isorhynchopylline and Isoptreropodine = Strong immune boosters
Also, Kratom may promote the circulation of blood and improves the oxygen levels (aphrodisiac), hence warding off Fatigue which may be caused by COVID-19
[link to thriveglobal.com (secure)]
[link to pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)]
[link to jaoa.org (secure)]
In summary, I find it strange that so many websites try to discredit Kratom as an evil tree with no medicinal uses (including Wikipedia). Even though, science research shows that Kratom does have those effective Alkaloids which may have the ability to inhibit COVID-19 (big pharma play again?). Your own informed research is suggested, both legally and health-wise, if you decide to use Kratom.

-Food, which are rich in "CARETONOIDS" like carrots, spinach, kale or pumpkin (antioxidant vitamins are positively associated with lung function and respiratory health)

*Special note: Coloidal Silver. Not included, since it is not a herbal ingredient. Silver is chemical processed and has its element AG on the periodic table. Hence, in my opinion, Coloidal Silver treatment is rather "holistic medicine" and as such many threads discussing its effectiveness as a potential cure/ protection vs COVID-19 , are available on GLP. Thanks for your understanding!
*Since it keeps coming up by posters, here is a lengthy and informative research article about silver nanoparticles anti-viral activity:
"silver nanoparticles were an effective virucidal agent against cell-free virus and cell-associated virus."
