Great list! Thanks a lot, super appreciated. Have been waiting for someone to provide list of Chinese herbs...

Either the Chinese are really good at cover up, have a magical "vaccine", simply are not telling the truth...

Or... the herbs are the real cure they found, hence Wuhan and China economy back online...
 Quoting: Nagabonar666

On the list Fang Feng -----> Ledebouriella divaricata, it's contraindicated for people with blood problems. COVID-19 has proven to cause blood problems in the hemoglobin and hematocrit. Fang Feng may effect oxygen carrying capacity.

Ledebouriella divaricata root

The Ledebouriella divaricata root has many therapeutic properties but it is contraindicated in patients with blood related problems.

"

While the world awaits a man-made coronavirus vaccine, Valley-area researchers are scrambling to uncover a more natural and controversial type of treatment: herbal remedies.

Arizona State University and the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe are collaborating on a research project focused on finding botanicals — or medicinal, plant-based herbal treatments — for COVID-19, the deadly disease caused by the novel coronavirus. The effort is spearheaded by Jeffrey Langland, a virologist with 33 years of experience.

Langland is an assistant research professor at ASU’s Biodesign Center for Immunotherapy, Vaccines and Virotherapy, and an associate professor of medical microbiology at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe."

I seriously want to get in touch with this guy!

I have some suggestions for the study.

I might even have something that worked for me here - but with no testing, how will we know?

hf

(If anyone can pull strings, phone a friend - Pls inbox me.)

OP - Great list to submit to test.

hf

*Edit - this study is taking place about 45 minutes from my house!!!!!
 Quoting: Bodhi Sita

Just private messaged you a link with Mr Langland's email and phone number...good luck in reaching, keep us updated pls

Propolis (CAPE) mixed WITH grape seed extract (reservatrol) = complete cytokine knockout

GPE + PR combination

Grape polyphenols and propolis mixture inhibits inflammatory mediator release from human leukocytes and reduces clinical scores in experimental arthritis

[link to www.sciencedirect.com (secure)]

Abstract

Polyphenols from red fruits and bee-derived propolis (PR) are bioactive natural products in various in vitro and in vivo models. The present study shows that hematotoxicity-free doses of grape polyphenols (GPE) and PR differentially decreased the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines from activated human peripheral blood leucocytes. While GPE inhibited the monocytes/macrophage response, propolis decreased both monokines and interferon γ (IFNγ) production. When used together, their distinct effects lead to the attenuation of ALL inflammatory mediators, as supported by a significant modulation of the transcriptomic profile of pro-inflammatory genes in human leukocytes. To enforce in vitro data, GPE + PR were tested for their ability to improve clinical scores and cachexia in chronic rat adjuvant-induced arthritis (AA). Extracts significantly reduced arthritis scores and cachexia, and this effect was more significant in animals receiving continuous low doses compared to those receiving five different high doses. Animals treated daily had significantly better clinical scores than corticoid-treated rats. Together, these findings indicate that the GPE + PR combination induces potent anti-inflammatory activity due to their complementary immune cell modulation.

 Quoting: Bodhi Sita

From: [link to www.hindawi.com (secure)]

The composition of propolis is not fixed and varies considerably from region to region along with vegetation, from season to season, and from hive to hive. In each sample of propolis, more than 80 to 100 chemical compounds are typically identified [94]. Altogether, at least 180 different compounds have been identified in propolis so far.

...

Dr Karl Lund Aagaard, a Danish biologist, earned the name “Dr Propolis” for his exploits of over 20 years of propolis collecting and research. After observing the effects of propolis on more than 50,000 patients in Scandinavia, Dr Aagaard drew the following conclusions:

The field of influence of Propolis is extremely broad. It includes cancer, infection of the urinary tract, swelling of the throat, gout, open wounds, sinus congestion, colds, influenza, bronchitis, gastritis, diseases of the ears, periodontal disease, intestinal infections, ulcers, eczema eruptions, pneumonia, arthritis, lung disease, stomach virus, headaches, Parkinson’s disease, bile infections, sclerosis, circulation deficiencies, warts, conjunctivitis and hoarseness [102].

...

Propolis is reputed to have antiseptic, antibacterial, antimycotic, astringent, spasmolytic, anti-inflammatory, anaesthetic, antioxidant, antitumoural, antifungal, antiulcer, anticancer, and immunomodulatory effects

Nice!

Great info!

I have been using it for over 20 years. I didn't know it was cultivated from such a broad spectrum though. Epic.

My source presses them into pills, which I love - And just intuitively doubled his production last summer.

I have known him for over 25 years.

It takes 5 months to press them.

He is using propolis daily with Vit D for this crap.

The great thing about propolis as an antibiotic is that the body does not develop a tolerance, and so far neither has anything that we have treated with it for the last 25 years or more.

Clears Strep throat if taken at onset of symptoms in 2 days if taken with royal jelly and vit d.

I really need to get into this study.

Much Love.

Some of these plants like oregano and save you can use in a dry herb vaporizer that get the essences directly to blood system/lungs.

*NOT the essential oils in a vaporize, that could be dangerous!

Grind up the plant matter and use in the vaporizer. Not too dry or too moist though. Get the herbs fresh from store, not the dried kind in bottle and let them dry out a little or vaporize through 2 cycles to get all essences.

Just a wonder there OP as I read threads such as this. We try to learn of ways to avoid death and yet death is written within our DNA. There is no escape from death regardless of what we learn or believe. We are born to learn death. It is what we are...

Good point there! Thanks for the info. hence both need to be placed next to each other, i think

Found this:

For example, although Yunzhi and Lingzhi are both mushrooms (cousins), their functions are both similar and different, so it is important to make the distinction to know what product will best fit a person’s particular health needs.

Side note: may also be used as supplement in some Singaporean clinics for cancer treatment supplement...

Prevention and treatment of viral respiratory infections by traditional Chinese herbs

Anti SARS virus

Baicalin derived from Scutellaria baicalensis
inhibited the replication of SARS-CoV in Vero and FRhK4 cells at concentrations which may be achievable in vivo
after intravenous administration.40 A large compound
screening test showed ginsenoside-Rb1 extracted from
Panax ginseng, aescin isolated from the horse chestnut tree,
reserpine containing in the genus Rauwolfia and extracts
of eucalyptus and Lonicera japonica inhibited SARSCoV replication at non-toxic concentrations.41 Glycyrrhizin
isolated from the root of Glycyrrhiza glabra was active
in inhibiting replication of the SARS-associated virus
(FFM-1 and FFM-2).42 Comparing to other commercial
drugs, glycyrrhizin was the most effective drug against
SARS virus and had the lowest toxic effect to human
.

Anti RSV Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Infection

An anti-RSV screening test with 21 herbs was employed,
and extracts from 14 herbs showed moderate to strong
anti-RSV activity.44 Among the effective herbs, six
herbs exhibited anti-RSV activity with 50% inhibitory
concentration values lower than 50 μg/ml and selective
Chinese Medical Journal 2014;127 (7) 1347
index values higher than 10, including Blumea laciniata,
Elephantopus scaber, Laggera pterodonta, Mussaenda
pubescens, Schefflera octophylla and Scutellaria indica. Glycyrrhiza uralensis was
another herbal candidate for cure of RSV infection.46,47 The
compound GD4 isolated from root of Glycyrrhiza uralensis.
fisch was effective to inhibit the number of RSV in vitro

Anti influenza virus

As a corynanthe-type monoterpenoid indole alkaloid,
hirsutine isolated from Uncaria rhynchophylla ( cat's claw herb) MIQ.
inhibited the replication of influenza virus A (H3N2) in
vitro.

Furthermore the 50% effective concentration of hirsutine was 11- to 20-fold lower than the clinically used RIBAVIRIN

--------------------

Another widely available member of plant family Uncaria with same compound hirsutine and quinic acid:

Caffeic acid and quinic acid are two major chlorogenic acids. These taste pretty foul: bitter, harsh, and often metallic. Quinic acid is related to quinine, which is what gives tonic water its distinct taste.2 Jun 2008

Added Rose Hips : The accessory fruit of the rose plant, fresh rose hips contain a lot of vitamin C (Among the highest Vitamin C content in nature), hence they share many uses with vitamin C including preventing and treating colds, flu, and vitamin C deficiencies. A lot of Vitamin C is lost during drying, processing and storage (fresh fruits anyone?). Glad you brought up lomatium! I used it with decent results when the black mold issue I had was in my lungs...good stuff, good thread, bump!

I got it from here I think? My go to place really [link to www.pacificbotanicals.com (secure)]
ANd just snacked on it all the time so dosage is vague! It was a reccomendation by a good friend of mine who is a consultant there and at Richters herbs in Ontario. He was correct. I should write him again about this really.

This should be added as welll [link to fungi.com (secure)] I've seen people with other lung issues benefit greatly from it.

A Herbal Autodidact - we respect that.

Lomatium is truly fascinating, due to the Native American tribe which survived unscathed, meanwhile millions left and right, rich and poor, were dying because of the Spanish Influenza 1918

Thanks also for the second link - Cordyceps, Reishi and Chaga, well noted to examine.
