People should do good deeds and shut the fuck up about them.

My husband felt the thing that was missing was music.

It was like a light bulb went on in him.

Knowing we hear before our final journey, we played his favorite music for his till his time had come. The Rascals & Moody Blues.


Besides our presence, the music relaxed him and also gave a bit of peaceful joy.

Remember some ppl come out of hospice! I had a friend who had stage 4 colon cancer. He went through +30 rounds of chemo, and he had his gallbladder removed along w/ 1 kidney and part of liver. That was 2 years ago. He's still alive.

My grandmother had triple bypass surgery that went wrong, and she was on 100% life support 40 days! The hospital kept aggravating us to take her off it, but we refused. She was eventually weened off life support and had a happy life for another 15 years.

I've had near death experiences where I felt my body frantically trying to keep my spirit. You have to fight it! Believe you WILL live!

I think many times that patients are ‘written off’ and pumped with morphine and whatever else to keep a person in a coma (brain dead they call it) and then after a few days the heart cannot take the drugs they are putting in for “pain” and it stops. Potassium is another sneaky drug they overdose you with to stop the heart.
The best thing you can do for people is to get them out of the hospital and home once the initial crisis is over.
I think many people would not die if they simply went home sooner.
Many people lived a long time after being “written off”.
My Grandma just died and I couldn’t believe the negative thinking by the Doctors. Not one shred of hope or help beyond pumping her with morphine.

But if its your time, its your time.

Only God knows the time.

But don’t let bastards end you sooner than need be.

Prayer and forgiveness with every person you ever knew goes along way.
Find every old childhood friend and have a chat. Don’t mentally will yourself to death- because the body will follow. Stay positive and get as much sunshine and clean water you can.
Get outside and pray.

Both my parents were in hospice care in their own home and these people were excellent.

We all have to go sometime brother. I hope it's not too painful for you and my thoughts for your family and others moving forward.
