But I am lucky that I was very close to her as a adult, so I know what her thoughts and feelings were on most things. So in that way she is very much with me all the time. Plus her grand daughter very much shares her twisted sense of humor so I have little glimpse of that as well. The pain of losing her has mostly subsided. I've been fortunate in my grief that I have been able to walk some others through their loss of a parent. Her unique view of the world comes through in all of her sons as well as her grandchildren. She is very much missed but her legacy is strong and her love cascades through our family. Quoting: Monkeys son 78086437 I'm sorry for you and your families loss. The photo journals of walks, the busy happy working and playing animals (Louis, I know who who controls my Kountess kitty's days! You have her remote control!) I do not have the words to express how much you all mean to me. I get to have springtime right here in my bed! It went perfectly with the chocolate malt and fries as well. I have had a rough few days and you guys got me though. I often fall to sleep reading, watching or listening to this thread. Also thank you mezzo for keeping people updated when I am not able. You are such a special hospice Angel even though I could not pick your face from a crowd. I can tell because she just ran thru the room dragging a link Mylar star shaped balloon by a white ribbon. If you look up the word love in the dictionary, you will find your own pictures. I am crying, not because my uncle called me, but because I feel pure simple love and joy! Thank you all for that. I am sending love and hugs. Too much love? Share it please! Too many hugs, share those too. I don't know much, but the most important things in life are people. Taking care of each other, loving each other, hugging each other.
