Today, 2 May, would have been Gayle's (Monkey Flower) 64th birthday. So let us take a moment to celebrate her special day, like she wanted us to remember her. Always uplifting, comforting and making others smile, while she was fighting for her life.

She left us three years ago, on 7 April 2020. Feel free to leave a comment or a wish. I pinned this thread, not only in her honor, but also because it is full of information and hopefully provides comfort for those struggling and being in similar situations.

I do miss that Lady.

Our birthdays were so close. She was a great soul and I didn't get enough time knowing her but thankful we got to know each other's hearts.

No doubt! She loved our crew here. 3 years and as many (if not moar!) name changes for me. Remember the flowers project!GLP in harmony, exuding Agape...

My mom,
The IRON ORCHID has just entered this phase. My mom at assisted living 5 minutes from my brother and sister in law. She is aware of what it means and will go in her own good time and will argue with the Reaper for some more time and get it. We are all sad but know is as inevitable as it is final. The end of pain and worry and one’s body betraying one.

May your passing be what you can want and can make it to be. I believe that humor works better than anything, I know anathema right? Whatever you would like to share of the experience would be welcome and would help many more people cope.
