any suggestions for a good juicer?

One of the benefits of celery is that you don't have to have a fancy or expensive juicer to juice it. Celery is a 'wet food', meaning it naturally produces lots of juice, it is crispy and easily 'ground' or juiced. Any standard juicer works for it, including the cheap-o juicers at Wal-Mart etc. So no need to go expensive.

When you juice celery (or anything else), you will tend to get more juice if you push it through the juicer quickly instead of slowly. Just an observation. Good luck

At least 16 ounces per day. Working up to 32 ounces is even better (even if you break it up into 16 ounces twice per day).

It's okay to start slower though. I started at 8 ounces per day.

That’s one way of looking at it but if it’s working it’s more of a mass hysteria persuasion type thing. As a person who was fooled into this same scam years ago I highly doubt it has suddenly actually started really working on more than a placebo level - not that I have anything against placebos - just not a fan of scammers like the “Medical medium”.

With celery, regardless of what juicer you use, It’s best to cut the stalks into short pieces before juicing so the long fibers don’t wrap around mechanisms.

I wouldn't call him a scammer. He isn't making money from celery sales skyrocketing. He's a #1 New York Times best-selling author and he's helped tens of thousands of people. Placebo effect doesn't last for years.

Get well or don't. The choice is yours/ours.

hello fellow juicers. I am still reaping the benefits of celery juicing though I changed it up to slow down the detox effects but am still getting the anti-inflammatory benefits with one glass a day before a meal on an empty stomach. I soon will jump back in and finish the detox I experience from it.

My celery plants are dying and it is sad!
I planted some in another area and they seemd ok til something ate them and now I am waiting to see if perhaps they will grow still?

Lastly, I have lost almost 10 lbs. I think the final stage of juicing for me where I actually go a full 30 days as prescribed, will benefit me very much. For me, I used to suffer allergies but no more since I began annual or bi annual detox! That amazed me. Such a relief to not suffer from that my whole life.

Gardening/planting is my current kick lol. My windowsill is full of just seeded herbs in the kitchen and I have some beautiful flowers to plant out front.

I need a spot for some veggies. Might need one of those stand up/raised planters. I worry about mice if I plant veggies ground level.

I will! They take a few weeks to start growing I guess. We got the flowers planted and the mulch down today. The front of the house looks SO much better. Tomorrow a new, all glass, storm door is going on. I'm really excited about this as my current front screen door is an ugly mess lol.
