They’re not too bad. They’re pretty potent because they are derived from the seeds themselves. I take a lot of different real food supplemental capsules and I think they are the second smallest ones next to astaxanthin. About the size of an Advil capsule I’d say.

It is so good for you & unfortunately I cannot partake...the last time I drank celery juice I broke out into hives, I guess I'm allergic in large amounts.

Those wishing to try MUST follow the protocol exactly otherwise the effects will not be as potent. Start off with perhaps 8floz and work up to the 16 over a few days as initially your gut will be like WTF are you doing.

I at first felt kind of itchy but I only blend up a couple stalks a day and I don’t feel it anymore. I add in a carrot also. I just don’t blend up too many veggies at one time. I don’t have a juicer so I strain out the pulp. Maybe start with one celery stalk a day and see what happens.

Or even less. Some people may be allergic so best to start with maybe only a couple of ounces. Or even just one at first to see how the body reacts. Then add an ounce every few days.

I liquidise the lot and eat/ drink all of it .

My sister in law has a juicer but lots gets discarded .

Better to eat it ,liquidised as God made it .

I wonder if perhaps the hives were from your body detoxing and not the actual celery itself. I'm sure you don't want to test that theory though, and I don't blame you.

This method is just one 16 ounce glass per day. I personally drink it 5 days per week, although 7 days is ideal.

never drink it after strenuous exercise

never drink it to re-hydrate

never replace a meal with "just celery"

Nope, just drink a glass first thing when you get up before drinking or eating anything. Wait about a half hour before eating breakfast. : )

Unfortunately the belief that the fibre is necessary is incorrect. You are looking for the juice extract NOT the pulp. Celery smoothie is not going to have anywhere near the effects as celery juice sadly. Many people can not fathom the idea that it is celery juice plain and simple without any additional ingredients. The effect this stuff has on your bowel will erase any need for fibre from the juice.

Omg I just started drinking celery juice and got a rash! Also sneezing, and lymph nodes sore. Found out it’s the detox thing! So I backed off the amount each morning and will build up slowly. Detox symptoms getting better!

One week doing this, and my skin is glowing and I have this energy -hard to explain. Calm and sustained, like my body is getting healthy. So grateful for the energy after wrestling w AF for 2 years. I was slowly recovering but this really helped.

FWIW, I use organic celery from Aldi, 2 bunches for $1.99.
I drink first thing in the AM, drink it all within 10 min of extraction, and I do NOT add anything to the juice.
Then I wait at least 15 min until I have food or coffee, 30 min is ideal.
All this is recommended as the best protocol to derive the best benefits.
Researched like a maniac for a good inexpensive slow masticating juicer and went with Mercola model. So far it works perfectly, dry pulp and no foam.

Good to know non organic celery is much lower on the contamination list for those without access to affordable organic celery.

You are so right, I keep trying to help others understand this aspect, but for some reason there’s a block - a need to add other ingredients or not “waste” the pulp. Btw, there’s lots you can do with the pulp!
