Earthquake in NJ?

If the military is testing supersonic aircraft in the NY/NJ there is always some kind
of PRE-warning ahead of time so the public does not barrage 911 with calls.
They didn't do that this time....which means it wasn't them and they are now just making a cover story.

Also....
Someone called into one of the NY/NJ area radio stations this afternoon at the exact time of the BOOMS and said
he saw a tiny silver dot with some kind of halo around it very high up in the sky headed south/southeast at high speed.

Who or what it was is unknown, but it sounds like the military is creating a cover story saying it was theirs.

Well the "halo" was probably the craft punching thru the sound barrier..

Interesting to say the least.

I was listening to talk show NJ 101.5 coming back from a dentist appointment right after this happened. People were calling in saying that glasses fell off their shelves, others said that patio doors, windows, and their entire houses shook. They were from Toms Rivers and south.

So you likely heard what I heard as well.
That guy was laying in his hot tub relaxing and looking at the sky at the time and that's why he just randomly happened to see it.
He had no idea what it was but the guys on the radio started talking about aliens and little green dudes immediately.
Whatever it was.....they WANTED TO BE HEARD.

I don't think that can occur at that altitude.
When you see jets do that, they are at MUCH lower altitudes.

No way of knowing exact size, but odds are it was not "alien" or even one of our anti-grav craft.
Those type of craft don't make any air disturbance at all.
They create their own gravity field that aerodynamics play no role in.
This was some kind of display by someone/something that wanted to be heard and possibly seen.

If would be interesting to know if the military scrambled jets to intercept this thing and if they were trying to chase it down.

...As others have chimed in here, I heard no 'deafening boom,' from inside the house, anyway; just the intense house rattle, 7 or so times over 1 1/2 hour.

Well, that's why I come here, and why I went so far as to make an account and post. There's a lot here you simply don't see elsewhere. And yes, there's a lot of nonsense for wasting time and bandwidth.

I don't consider this particular subject a waste, though. It was widely noticed and reported (I first learned of it from a seismologist friend on the other side of the country). NORAD, which I assume would know in advance of aircraft capable of producing sonic booms, seemed as perplexed as we were. Then, suddenly this evening, the "explanations" came out.

Call me paranoid, but I find that suspicious.

Well then you know the east coast is a lot of granite. the quake in 2011, a 5 I think...felt it a long way, made me come out of the office in NC. Was there a quake on the feeds? Did anyone in Virginia or close feel it?
Those earthquakes feeds are not that easily manipulated by the gov, for reasons being.
So I dismiss it, if you cant feel it on the east coast, at least in surrounding states then it didn't happen.But the board is wild about it...
