No birds singing nearby while that was going on, but now they're all tweeting happily.

it's currently above freezing temp in NJ soo that excuse couldn't have been used.
Fake planes nobody saw was used instead.

Just saw a link on twitter from the Fire Fighters of Nova Scotia (to their facebook page) which noted they are hearing a sonic boom was felt from the UK to the USA.

Aaaah hah!

They were bringing in one of the deep, interstellar craft.

Either that or a meteor.


However, I'm often EQ sensitive, and the spidey senses were ringing hard since last night, so I'm thinking its likely something electro-magnetically driven and connected to the sun.

Event Summary

Sonic boom. First of multiple over the following hours after this event. At least 9 sonic booms were recorded in the following hour and a half. Reported from southern New Jersey along the Eastern Seaboard to Long Island, New York.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the Air Force state an hour ago they had NO aircraft in the area that could possibly create a sonic boom like this????

You're correct; everything I'm reading is that they're saying they don't have anything that would cause sonic booms. None of the local news reports are dwelling on it either (I'm in Old Bridge area). Just, yeah, it happened, next. I'm guessing TPTB know exactly what it was and are getting their jollies out of watching everyone speculate. Personally, I don't think there's a grey area on this. It's either absolutely nothing to worry about or something nefarious. Why yank everybody's chain otherwise?
