Imminent Pandemic; 25 SARS like cases in Undisclosed New York Hospital-Now believed to be St Lukes.

Please, I think some more logical and in other posts respectful considerations might be appropriate.

seems appropriate.

All who say this is unconfirmed are correct, I posted just as much, right from the outset.

But, it is the nature of the beast that someone HAS to be the first to break a new story, and when I did post this originally, I did so because I was given that link, but also far more importantly, my source also additionally had a close relative working in a medical field who was also endorsing exactly the same information.

So I do have 2 reasonably reliable independant sources.

One of whom I have had contact with for wel over a year and whose reputation I have absolutely no hesitation in vouching 100% for.

That source has simpley wanteed a higher level of anonimity because authorities are attempting to conceal this information.

However, now the cat is out of the bag, it shouldnt be long before we do get LOTS of official information.

All for the reasons that I have previously ststed.

Witholding information now will cause those who do much grief as it should.

Some of you know I'm a retired MD myself. That having been said - where you are in the US has a direct correlation to your survival if/when you turn up with something "outside" the normal disease physicians see.

If her doc can't figure it out, then the first step is to call in a Pulmonologist and an Infectious Disease Specialist. If you can find men/women in these specialities who are professors at a medical school - so much the better. Medical Schools tend to take a lot of funds from the US Government and are easily and quickly plugged into The CDC and the NIH. A phone call is all it takes to get a team dispatched if they're got a suspected case of SARS or Bird Flu, etc. Those teams will also advise what antibiotics and combos of drugs to begin IMMEDIATELY (before they arrive) to give your mother the best chance of survival and control over either one of those illnesses if that should be what she's suffering with.

Do NOT let some GP or Country Doc twiddle his thumbs trying to figure it out himself. If he won't get consultations from Pulmonology and ID, then you can make a few phone calls and arrange them yourself. You won't get anywhere sitting by and being patient and polite, however. If she's sick and they do not know what's wrong, then insist that the escalate the problem up to first the local specialists and then to the national guys at NIH and/or CDC.

There are lots of dedicated scientists and docs at the NIH and CDC who are funded to be on a plane with a team in minutes if there's a case they cannot identify. The problem is that too often the local docs wait too long before calling them and the disease is totally out of control.

Raise hell, and if she's in a small regional hospital - you may even have to get her transferred to the nearest medical school, teaching facility to get state-of-the-art care. Do not hesitate to do so. Her life may well depend on how hard and now well you and your family push these docs!

A thought also.

If this event does turn out to be MERS-cov the the numbers of cases will virtually double alll the admitted to cases to date, well atleast amount to about two thirds of that.

That is a seriously significant increase in just one single place and all at the same time.

Hence my fears of the leading edge of a pandemic.

I went down with the flu on Saturday, between then and now I've cut up about 15 cloves of garlic over the three days and eaten them raw swallowing cut up pieces whole.


Not a pleasant experience but this flu I've had has now reduced and I am now able to go back into work. Im still taking the normal pharam remedies as well but I suspect the garlic has helped to kill off the virus somehow.

I've done this before and it worked then too. Not saying its a miracle cure but thought I would give it a try as I'm one of those people who rarely gets a cold or flu but when I do it's normally pretty bad and lays me up for min of a week.

Sorry, don't buy this at all. If there really was a highly infectious flu-like super bug spreading then it would already be everywhere and quite obvious. We know there have already been isolated cases all over the world so it is obviously already out there all over the place - but it isn't causing mass infections. Not saying it won't at some point, just that I don't think this is it.

Hasn't there been unseasonally cold weather on the east coast of the US recently? If so wouldn't that have extended the normal flue season? So wouldn't you expect more flu cases than normal?

It's entirely possible they are now unleashing the plague to preemptively stop the protests!

The Hospital concerned is St Lukes. This was revealed by the nurse at the centre of this story on a thread from another website.

Both she and the man in the video have posted in this thread and both are very believable.

Here is some posted commentary regarding this situation.

The description describes medical barrier nursing practices and as such gains considerable credibility.

If you are not medically trained you could not describe these protocols, leading to and lending much greater credibility to the credentials of the poster.

The hospital that has now been identified as St. Lukes hospital in New York, so if anyone else could add confirmation we might be able to move forward with the issues that are core to this development.

I want to say a few things to get more information out. My Brother in Law John made the first video while I was still typing to him more information. I work at St Lukes . We were told to keep Hush Hush and not tell anyone what is going on at our hospital.


The CDC Has been contacted not be me but by other nurses. I was off the day they arrived but know not much was done by them. We have contacted local news papers but they want more proof and since we do have the privacy acts in place we can't just hand over medical files.


Since I have spoke up to hospital staff and asked questions I was given as they said "Time off"


The flu that I am talking about The symptoms are as follows:

Fever over 103
Severe body aches and pains
Raspy Cough
Chills
Either a Fast or slow heart rate.
Lethargic

We administer antibiotics when we first thought it was a virus and then Tamiflu and it has not responded
When we treat the patients we are to wear gloves up to the elbows we were a yellow or blue gown and a full face mask. No one is allowed in or out of the room with out wearing the protective gear.
