I'm one of the few people that thought the CD clubs in the 80's were a good deal. I used to hurry home from school to see if my CD's arrived in the mail. I would open up the package, put them in my Sony Boombox and listen to all of them. I ended up playing in many bands so I think it was a good investment. A lot cheaper than college.

I used to have the same Boom Box that Paul Shaffer used on Letterman. I found out years later when I saw it behind him on the show.

I'm so very happy I retired before the scam-demic hit...I feel very lucky as well!

I just went next door to where they are building a house, and the contractor recognized me and complemented my work over the years...He used to bring me his fleet for repairs...He said everyone compliments my work and mentions my name around town...it's nice to be recognized and it's far from the first time, though it has been awhile lol

This is everything you need to know...please repost/share.

[link to www.foxnews.com (secure)]

As you ALL should now be aware, these multiple pyramid shaped Elohim UFO's are now confirmed by the Pentagon and US Navy which are the original creators of the current genetic human experiment (They created our DNA code), and they're back to start a new genetic breed of humans (a new DNA code).

The Elohim have been observing our actions for some time now, but we're way too over populated with 8 Billion+ and growing.

This is one of the reasons why Elon Musk is so ambitious to get the current human DNA population off this planet before the 90% human depopulation occurs - and expect to see some real alarming high death rates starting in late summer or early fall until 90% of the world population has died off. This could take a yr or two.

You see, the Elohim has to reduce the population to 500M or less humans worldwide to start their new human DNA code experiment.

And they realize many humans have failed and are vile/evil - but not all of us - some are good.

Once their 500M or less population goal is reached with the rollout of the continuous poisonous vaccines and new deadly strains (like India's) they will land their pyramid shaped UFOs and start their human experiment all over again for another 2000yrs.

Then they'll leave to Orion's belt where their home is and come back in another 2000yrs to see their results of their latest experiment. And if they're not happy with the results do it all over again until the human race finally has the perfect DNA code. This could take another 100 cycles.

if you're living with the convenience of electricity and indoor plumbing.. you still have it pretty good historically. Problem is.. to many live in a "virtual reality" today. The real world still is not that bad. Unplug, and get out and enjoy every day.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77192746

I don't have either (electricity or plumbing), at least, not that is provided by the city.

I was living the hellish life of a corporate drone on the east coast, everything that came in would be immediately spent. There's a cartoon with "Ann", the woman who spent her life working but had no savings, and some neckbeard slimeball who invested in crypto to buy child porn, and now he's a millionaire.

So I took my little nest egg and quit that job. I drove across the country to join extended family who are off the grid - all of my electricity comes from the sun. About six months prior to leaving I made some good crypto investment choices, and now I never plan to go back to work.

I've never been more relaxed. I get out everyday and enjoy real life...or I stay in and meditate. The majority of my energy is now used to REALLY live.

This is a festival/concert from 1983, the "US Festival."

Watch it. Enjoy it. Think about the people you see. If you are my age, 56, you will recall fond memories and be thankful that you are old enough to have experienced such a time as this.

If you are too young, the whole scene may appear odd to you.

Make observations as this is the basis of real science.

in 1976 we had the longest hottest summer on record. i was 10 years old. and it was the greatest time of my life. up early, out all day with friends playing in the woods or the nearby fields (which are now a housing estate), no internet, no mobile phones, no video games or million channels of BS tv. it's a cliche but we made our own entertainment. we had no money but didn't need it to enjoy being a kid in a glorious summer, long befor the nightmarish situation of today. i pity the modern childhood.

My mom was fun. She would organize driveway circuses for the neighborhood kids, silly fashion shows for the girls. Everybody was on board and we had fun. I was on a bike or skateboard as much as I walked. Kids were all over the town having fun. I used to play drums with the windows open and no neighbors ever complained.

In my town now, some neighbors hired a band for their kid's graduation a few years ago. they played a couple songs and it started to rain. It didn't last long but they didn't start up again. I found out that someone called the cops on them for a noise complaint.

When I was 10 (78) I got a decent job timekeeping hockey and lacrosse. It was $10.00 an hour cash which was awesome. My dad had an 'in' since he coached the youngest Gretzky. I used a lot of my pay to go to the arcade. I stopped playing video games when people bought home devices. Oh I played a mario thing once on a wii with my son and one of his friends. The only sketchy part of the job was that a lot of the lacrosse was played on the Rez (one of the refs would pick me up and drop me off) and it often turned into chaos. No one paid attention to me though. We often had to get escorted by the Rez cops and the OPP of the Rez...lol good times.

How old are you OP?

I'm 49, so the decades match, but I would say I didn't really "Live" the 70's, you know...

I absorbed it but didn't live it.

Also, the 80's, by the time I got a car, it was over. 1988 forward sucked as rap and crack replaced rock and weed/Acid. Douchebags with beepers and Z Cavaricci...

The 90's with lumberjack girls out of their minds of superweed too strong for normal people, depressing whiney Grunge...(good movies though)...

The 00's with 911 and realizing how fake and fucked everything is...

The 10's with Obama/Trump cartoon politics

Yuck.

To really have lived the last "Best Days" I think you need to be born...oh...

1958-1960

Old enough to remember the Beatles and the Breakup

Old enough to be able to Catch Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath live

Old enough to have experienced Disco, Quaaludes, LSD (The real kind)

And Old enough to have gotten every scrap of enjoyment out of the 80's and technology before we became it's bitch.

Old enough to have figured some shit out by the 90's and have a job and start a family and avoid the dreary single life of a 20 something trying to navigate those bullshitty waters.

I took a job at 17 to clean a bowling alley/bar after it closed. I was an honest kid so I didn't want to steal any booze. I would go to the back where they kept the empty liquor bottles and I would drink the last sip out of each bottle just to see what everything tasted like. That was a fun perk. I would play songs on the jukebox when I cleaned and I would keep a tally of the snacks I ate. There were video games too.

Sadly I had to quit because I wasn't getting enough sleep before high school.

Best cleaning job ever!
