Temperance means what it says-seek moderation and clarity in all that you do. The ceremony of the Apparelamentum consists of a monthly renewal of faith and devotion. Enter into a right relationship with the reflection you see in the mirror. Confess any sins you have committed to yourself, and set your own correction through fasting and prayers. Your goal is to remain in a state of grace and to always be ready, meaning that it is time to get yourself in peak physical and mental shape. For you I have XVIII The World of Shadows, otherwise known as The Moon. I would also recommend, before I get into your reading, to also refer to the reading I left for (14) Temperance, as I’m getting that that reading also applies to you.
The Cathars believed this world to be a place of darkness and uncertainty, the creation not of god but of the demiurge. The demiurge is a copy of god who made a false copy of earth as dark realm. Think of the demiurge as a pair of sunglasses that filters the light (god) and makes everything appear in sepia. You were born into darkness, just like all of us. You had a rough start and probably felt like you were “feeling around in the dark” in order to find truth in your life.
I will share with you a dream I had that reminds me of this card. I was in an especially dark time back in 2016, discovering things that pained me very deeply to see online. Platforms like twitter that appear to be social media are actually running enormous international child trafficking rings. You would not believe the amount of children for sale on twitter right now in places like Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand. I was plagued during this time with nightmares of a demon called “Moloch” who had locked me in a dark room as punishment for what I was uncovering. In one of the dreams, I discovered that I could overcome the blackness of the room by emitting my own light, from within, not unlike the bioluminescence we see in some marine life. Whenever I learned to do this, the moloch nightmares no longer plagued me.
Your mission is to not only find the synchronicities around you but to understand what they mean. You are a psychic being, but be careful about communicating with demiurge or deceptive beings that claim to be of the light.

The Cathars were feared, hated, and eventually burned to death in a persecution that took place in a crusade launched against them in 1179, brought on by Pope Alexander III. When it was suggested that not all Cathars were equally guilty, Arnold Amaury (who headed the crusade) was believed to have said, “Burn them all-God will know His own.” Many Cathars, seeking mercy and to avoid being burned to death, renounced Gnosticism and Catharism and swore to become Christians. They were also burned to death. Other Cathars died with a song on their lips and a look of total peace and calm on their faces, which disturbed their executioners. The Cathars believed that death brought release from the cruelty and horror of human life on earth.
Your card is about your struggle to gain momentum. Learning to control your emotions and direct your will properly. If you are having troubles in your personal life right now, it is because you may be overly determined to “forge ahead” with your ideals and opinions and ways without thinking enough about the feelings of others. Be careful of rage and losing control of your emotions. Your work involves understanding that everyone is a unique individual on a journey that is different than your own. No amount of arguing or pushing of information will bring them near to where you’re at - only time can do that. Hello, I really love your question as it has also been my question for some time. Whenever I asked, I got card (7) VII Ascension / Triumph / The Chariot
The number 7 is the number of transmutation. How we move ourselves from out of the reincarnation cycle and into the god cycle. Cycles and hierarchies are perpetual and fixed, as an individual you cannot break them but only travel through them, or up.
All truth seems radical until it is absorbed by enough of humanity, where it eventually become dogma. The dogma twists the truth and attracts to it lies, ignorance, and deceit-which are then shattered by a new radical truth. It’s just how the cycle seems to go.
The way to move through this cycle and into other greater ones seems to be in direct correlation with something called The Hawkins Scale of Consciousness.
A good practice for you would be to lie flat with your arms and legs spread out before you so that you form a 5 pointed star with your body. Relax, empty your mind, concentrate on your inner god. Recite The Lord’s Prayer (pater noster) very slowly. It has within it 7 magical petitions. Let yourself fall asleep doing this. This process with time may help you to travel to other astral realms where you may learn how to escape the matrix.

Thanks everyone for the responses and interest. I’m really tired as this was my first time doing this kind of reading. I am relying on The Cathar Tarot by John Matthews & Wil Kingman, Alchemy and Kabbalah in the tarot by Samael Aun Weor to guide my interpretations as well using random stuff from my own research over the years.
