Are there any other medics on this thread?

Suddenly I seem to be seeing a lot more cardiac related patients. Arrhythmias, Chest Pains, Infarctions and Arrests?

Maybe vaccine issues??
 Quoting: ParamedicUK

I'm a former paramedic, long out of the business...seeing any unusual or odd ectopics on the monitor? In your verbal evaluation, are you asking if they have taken the vax? Would be interesting to know...
 Quoting: Georgia Geoprepper

Most patients if not all have had one or both jabs.

Seen a lot of ectopics appearing and infarctions in healthily people!
Herd immunity and vaccine free is the only way……

Pulmonary Hypertension

PAH is a serious disease without a cure that can affect males and females of any age including children. The increased pulmonary vascular resistance in PAH results in right heart failure and subsequently death. Patients diagnosed with PAH only live for 2–3 years from the time of diagnosis on average if untreated [30,31]. Even with currently available therapies, only 60–70% of PAH patients survive for
three years

SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein Elicits Cell Signaling in Human Cells It was found that the treatment of cultured primary human pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells (SMCs) or human pulmonary artery endothelial cells with the recombinant SARS-CoV-2 spike protein S1 subunit is sufficient to promote cell signaling without the rest of the viral components [21]. Furthermore, our analysis of the postmortem lung tissues of patients who died of
COVID-19 has determined that these patients exhibited pulmonary vascular wall thickening, a hallmark of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) [21]. Based on these results, we proposed that the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein (without the rest of the viral components) triggers cell signaling events that may promote pulmonary vascular remodeling and PAH as well as possibly other cardiovascular complications.

Around 4.7 million people were waiting for routine operations and procedures in England in February - the most since 2007, NHS England figures show.

Out of that 4.7 million, nearly 388,000 had been waiting more than a year for non-urgent surgery compared with just 1,600 before the pandemic began.

P1 is mutating in ways that could make it better able to evade antibodies, according to scientists studying the virus.

Those changes, the scientists said, could make the virus more resistant to vaccines - which target the spike protein - with potentially grave implications for the severity of the outbreak in Latin America’s most populous nation.

“We believe it’s another escape mechanism the virus is creating to evade the response of antibodies,”

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75698626

Abstract

The world is suffering from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). SARS-CoV-2 uses its spike protein to enter the host cells. Vaccines that introduce the spike protein into our body to elicit virus-neutralizing antibodies are currently being developed. In this article, we note that human host cells sensitively respond to the spike protein to elicit cell signaling. Thus, it is important to be aware that the spike protein produced by the new COVID-19 vaccines may also affect the host cells. We should monitor the long-term consequences of these vaccines carefully, especially when they are administered to otherwise healthy individuals. Further investigations on the effects of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein on human cells and appropriate experimental animal models are warranted.

Conclusions

In conclusion, the recent advancement in the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein-based COVID-19 vaccine development is exciting and has shed light on how to end the current pandemic. These vaccines should benefit elderly people with underlying conditions if they do not exhibit any acute adverse events. However, we need to consider their long-term consequences carefully, especially when they are administered to otherwise healthy individuals as well as young adults and children. In addition to evaluating data that will become available from SARS-CoV-2 infected individuals as well as those who received the spike protein-based vaccines, further investigations of the effects of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in human cells and appropriate animal models are warranted.

This study was published 1/11/21. It's been 3 months of intense vaccinations. Have there been any recent numbers of PAH released?

Read the whole study, instead of the scary part you highlighted. It's actually an interesting study.

It's like what CC would say - he doesn't even have a redeeming feature - at least in the past whenever there was a troll in the thread they at least had the grace to interact with others in a kind of entertaining way. George offers nothing like that - he's just a pure up paid shill.

Though with a thread as popular as that, and one where the OP doesn't moderate, it's kind of inevitible that someone with questionable motives would want to come along and spam the thread to distract from things about the virus situation. I'm just surprised it lasted as long as it did without a George type person arriving earlier.

Cats/dogs symptomatic with the b117 variant? I don't remember there being reports of cats/dogs becoming symptomatic last year during the time of the earlier variants/strains?

Researchers at Texas A&M’s Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences department have confirmed a cat and dog living in the same house have contracted the UK variant of COVID-19 B.1.1.7.

All of the animals enrolled in their study, about 450 so far, live in Brazos County and live inside homes where a human tested positive for COVID-19. About 60 animals have been confirmed with COVID-19, and a quarter of those animals showed mild symptoms like lack of energy, sneezing and diarrhea.

Ya I knew about positive cases (asymptomatic), but not symptomatic ones. If these symptomatic ones weren't happening before then this could be further evidence the new variants are causing more severe illness (in the acute phase).

More info on the outbreak in in Cambodia.

the World Health Organization (WHO) has said, warning that the Southeast Asian nation is on the verge of a “national tragedy”.

In less than a week, Cambodia has recorded more than 1,000 cases of the virus. As of Wednesday, 35 people had died.

The outbreak appears to have been caused by quarantine breaches and there have been cases in the clothing factories which employee many.

Still seems no need to panic to me. 1,000 in a week when in the UK we are opening everything back up with more than that in a day, even with a population of 16m
