Though I do like some snow, so mountain areas best choices. I agree young people need a city and rural is for families, but the nu's he gave is wrong. A city is 10000 people upwards in my mind. Young people need some people to meet, and get married to, primarily, it isn't about jobs in factories, which usually are more rural to begin with. Avoiding 100000 or more people unless you're in college, is normal to me. At any age. If it wasn't for climate change and cycles, Portland Oregon has beautiful historical buildings but so does the Lower Mainland Vancouver area so wouldn't swap. Flat areas, like Ohio, I don't do tornado's! Think Idaho's beautiful. It has lots of areas that remind me of the Okanagan. In fact one could say if I had to leave the Okanagan region in BC, to the US, would simply go to the Okanagan region in the US because its beautiful and love Tonasket, that's my type of place. Tonasket Wa is one the nicest areas in North America other than Okanagan BC. Last Edited by Sungaze_At_Dawn on 11/03/2022 11:57 AM The Devil tries to convince everyone he doesn't exist. Anonymous Coward User ID: 84589675 United States 11/03/2022 12:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | All I have to say, in any college or University town in Minnesota, be home by dark. The thugs, criminals, substance abusers, idiots and freaks come out at night for mischief. The last time they had a organized event, George Floyd enthusiasts burned Minneapolis and St. Paul down and murdered some folks. Thinking of Minnesota, BEWARE OF THE SLOGAN, MINNESOTA NICE, ITS A TOURISM PLOY! DON'T BELIEVE IT! Minneapolis, St. Paul and St. Cloud are refugee centrals with every type of criminal from Somalia, Liberia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Mexico. If multicultural criminal diversity is your bag, then by all means, join the gang as the virtue signalers are wrapped in the glory of money in harboring these parasitical populations in their sanctuary cities for their own agendas. |

I found it enjoyable, for the most part....until 2016 to now. I left there for Utah 4 years ago. It's quite different here in many ways, but the overall vibe is exponentially better, for me. The only thing I can honestly say I miss is the proximity to the ocean and big trees. |
