Never experienced so much racism and bullshit attitudes in my life. Lived there for three years. Loved Oregon. If it weren’t for politics, I’d move there. Same with Washington. Lived there for a year and did not want to leave. Loved Montana and Idaho. Didn’t live there though. Spent a summer campground-hopping and visiting my grandma back in 1995. American |

Just like everywhere else, stay out of the big cities…..loaded with libtards like all the rest. Everything in between is a great place to be. Hocking Hills State Park is a great visit….awesome hiking and horseback riding. Also loads of ATV trails. I currently live just a few minutes from the park and love seeing all the folks looking for a great rolling through. Peace |

Some Democrats just decided to take advantage of that, something that I bet many Republicans regret. I exist. |

User ID: 81617328 United States 11/03/2022 12:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The worst state for me was Massachusetts. The drivers suck, the street signs are backwards, the weather sucks, cost of living is too high, taxes suck. the people are the rudest in the whole world (except maybe the French). Mississippi is bad as well, too fucking hot and humid! Too many bugs. The whole place makes me itch. Nothing to do but drink beer cause the water is rancid. South Carolina was OK, good cost of living, strange blue laws like you can only buy beer during daylight hours. Which is good in the summer but bad around New Years eve. There really isn’t a thing called southern hospitality. If you move there from out of state be prepared to get the stink-eye from the locals, can’t really blame them though. Too many bugs and snakes, Water sucked, full of salt. Colorado is a mixed bag. The front range is far too crowded, Pueblo sucks. The water is great, good fishing if you like to only eat trout. Some spectacular mountains. Weather for me was just about perfect but depends a lot on location. Great skiing. Hunting is getting difficult, too many ‘corporate’ hunters. Too many fires. Hawaii sux, too crowded except for the big island. Love the mountains and volcanoes. Cost of living is high. Absolutely no change in the weather. Can’t go anywhere without flying for 6 hours. Hawaiians are mostly cool but a bit child like, they have no worries. There are no snakes in Hawaii but Hawaiians are scared to death of them. Water was good. New Mexico sux, no trees except on the few mountains, crime is way high in certain places, chilies are great, balloon festival is nice, nothing has changed in Albuquerque in 50 years, Santa Fe is nice except for the libtards. There are far too many Texans trying to ski, kayak, fly fish, and hunt. I’ve lived in more places but I really have to get some work done. Smoke me a kipper, I’ll be back for breakfast. If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools. — Plato “AI is kind of a fancy thing, first of all it’s two letters. Quoting: Hari_Seldon Huntsville, Alabama was number 1 for the cities people never regret moving to. I was there recently. It has charm for sure, the four seasons, fertile ground, the mountains, good people. Downsides: 1. 5% state income tax (it's 0% just some miles north in Tennessee) 2. The airport doesn't go anywhere, you have to fly into Nashville - or worse, Atlanta Lists like this are difficult because everyone is different. I myself like Florida because it seems to be the freedom state and year round good weather, but the soil sucks and it's vulnerable to hurricanes. The best places to go right now might in fact be outside the USA. Just sayin'. Like here at 8000 ft in the Andes. Like I told my ex-wife, I said: honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it’s all in the reflexes… |

What I hate is sales tax; difficult to get around. I see it just the opposite. Hated Delaware's no sales tax/income tax combo. for me, it is easier to limit the amount I spend, or wait for the tax holidays. the tax on food was recently lifted for one month due to inflation. Even with a sales tax, almost everything is tons cheaper here... have NOT figured that one out. Liberalism is totalitarianism with a human face – Thomas Sowell |

Technically part of Appalachia. People are so very kind here - a few exceptions, ONLY a few, come to mind. Our local Maryville statue of Sam Houston, who taught school here - On Christmas, he gets warm clothing! On his birthday, his favorite foods are placed at his feet - coffee and scallops or shrimp.
