my Vancouver, WA house value is rising $4-5k per month. in Sept it rose $7k. I watched LA bubble
in 1980s rising 100% in 4 years, 2001 and 2008
bubble. I think this one has another year in it
and Portland area won't be hit hard by a crash.

Recently left a blue town in a blue state to a red town in a different blue state. Wish I lived in a red state but I'm staying put for now.

Sucking is putting it mildly in my opinion. I havent been sick in 10 years was doing great, paid off my place and the threats didnt stop coming! Moved her 2 months ago and went to work fixing the place up to sell. She is in Houston now and loves it, its where i grew up! Hope my place sells. There are many red states that have blue counties, and many blue states that have red counties. Some blue states, have magnitudes of red counties, but because a tiny few HUGE counties are so population dense blue, they carry the state.

Only TWO ways to own a home. Be where you are and brace for impact.

1. Paid off.
2. Leveraged to the hilt with a comfortable payment. USE their money against them.

Cash out your equity, pay off your other debts where it provides monthly cash flow more than your payment, it also leaves some pocket money, and continue to pay your mortgage. Worse case, should you lose the house, you keep the cash, wipe the debt, and potentially strategically walk away to pay cash for a new home after it collapses. Best case, you keep making payments and a roof over your head.

One guy I knew in 2006 took out a 125% cash out. When the crash came, he was sitting on all their fucking money. He could have given the house back, and paid cash for a new house.

This is not a time to move. It's a time to be prepared. The reckoning is coming very soon. The stock markets are rolling over right now. Every in collapse will start to pick up speed.

If hyperinflation happens, real estate is going to lose even more in real terms. It's not like people's salaries are going to be going up a lot, even with hyperinflation. The costs of maintaining a home would also skyrocket and be too much. It's an illusion to think that real estate prices in real terms will stay super high. That's what they thought in 2006, and we're in a far bigger illusion of wealth right now. It's quite scary how big the everything bubble is.

I lived in a blue state that stayed this way from the time of the civil wars and then reconstruction, done by the same ones who owned slaves. You think it was republicans who controlled Congress in those years, think again. Democrats were the slave owners, yes, they were the slave owners, and I was in one state of the South, not all slave owners were the same. Some want to not be a slave owner, educate and freedom was the plan. Democrats did not want this. Jefferson Davis change a lot during the war, his vice president did not, he became the gov. Of Georgia because his state didn't rejoin the union by pasting the 13 amendment in time, so he could regain his senate seat. Andrew Johnson was a democrat who was vice president under President Lincoln and my state voted for Lincoln before the war he was a republican, so was my area. Andrew Johnson wanted to do what Lincoln had planned after the war, that was to get the country back together, the congress didn't agree, so they impeached Johnson the senate didn't, so he was still president with little power. The democrats wanted flesh of the south.

Now my state was a little different from some we had white and black plantation owners, and representatives were plantation owners in our state, they also elected black men to go to Washington, they found a way to keep them from taking a set in congress. These were intelligent men, and they found a way to keep from seating these men. Don't believe me, check if for yourselves. We set up college as soon as possible after the war in our area and new colleges in another area, George Washington Carver helped to set up one we another man Tuskegee Institute which is a black higher education institute in sciences. Sorry they were involved in that horrible study, I really am. I have no idea who was in charge of it at the time.

So, yes it matters to me where I am, yet even the older Democrats who were crooked as can be, would be angels next to the social communist of today, they can call themselves socialist democrats all the want only they are kidding themselves only they say the same things all said before them, and they are communist to the core, along with believing it or not socialist who were Nazis the left here is the same as the right in Germany then and now, they are not the same as the right here in the USA. So, no I don't want to live in a state with a bunch of people as these are who would have elected these types of government.
