Im in New Mexico. Moved my wife to Houston, and im here selling our place. Not working either shut my business down too. Its the ugliest thing ive ever had to participate in at my age. Sell my retirement house so i can move to safety before i have nothing left.

However, I'm concerned about real estate prices dropping badly / crashing over the next 2-5 months, and then I'd get far less cash for my house if I waited until spring to sell.

Thoughts on that??

I wish I had gotten mine sold by July of this year, but couldn't for logistical reasons.

Yeah, it's hard to believe how FUCKED all of this is.

It truly SUCKS.

It's not an easy decision to make, I guess, for me.
And other things were standing in the way earlier this year.

Now I'm at a new crossroads.

And I'm moving to a cold region, so moving over the next month or two will be challenging and a tiny bit dangerous / risky.

I think it's too late to consider a sell and relocation but people are still doing it. And I pray they get to welcoming communities and they themselves have somewhat of a prepper mindset by now.

Personally, I would plan to bunker-in. Harden your house and prep Weirdmageddon. Cause it's gonna even weirder.

The time to sell in a blue state was months ago. The bubble peaked already. It's a long way down. Might even be really hard to sell a home in places like Los Angeles, where no one is moving into.

But I don't wanna lose $100,000 to $200,000 equity waiting too long.......

I was not able to sell this year, earlier, sadly.

I'll be able to sell, but it just won't be as much cash as I would have gotten earlier this year.

In WA, from what I've seen, these people here are COMPLETELY BRAINWASHED.

Extremely few are awake to any degree like we are.
