Re: Grocery doom incoming?
Right now this is happening in scattered pockets of the country - some places are being hit harder by supply chain issues than others. Bit it is a growing problem that shows no sign of improving anytime soon.

Anyone who has not stockpiled a minimum 6 months of emergency supplies, including food and water, has not been paying attention for the past year.

Yeah, and it's spreading...

This is the new normal.

It's not going to get better. It can't. Harvests were very bad this year.

MS, LA, AL are all shitty states, sorry. My area MD-DC-N.Va is never out, not even during 2020. We get priority over others because of how many gov't employees live/work here.

Its Wal-mart this isnt meat its poison
 Quoting: Vaellene

same distributors send meat to the same grocery stores in the same towns as wal-mart. theyre a shit tier company but its not like they raise their own poison meat. its the same as any other store bought meat. so if you're arguing against mass produced meat all together ill concur. otherwise, bs.

Quick Walmart run today- no fresh chicken or pork-ZERO. Almost no prepackaged lunch meat either. Beef supply was OK. I didn’t explore all the aisles- was in hurry & just needed to grab a couple items…

Anybody else seeing this?

Who buys meat at Walmart? Try Aldi, just as inexpensive and much healthier.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 49178951

Jesus. Aldi is bottom of barrel, I wouldn't walk in there or walmart if my life depended on it. Wegmans or nothing. Tops maybe if I'm desperate to hang with the ghetto crowd. Walmart target aldis, not in a million years.

I now buy shelf stable or freezable things when I see them, even if I don't have an immediate need, because I've learned that you never know when they will be back in stock.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19778563

the problem with frozen meat is if the power goes out, eventually you run out of gas for the generator and it all rots.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80877221

boil them and put them in thick salt

before freezers, salt was saving the meat

Re: Grocery doom incoming?
My twin sister took pics yesterday. Sioux city iowa wal mart she said they had food. But no Halloween candy. Also the shoe isle was gone and no lay away section. The auto section looked at first but she realized they had these curtain walls up. It was a big empty space in the auto section . She snuck behind and took pics of it. Said it felt creepy. She posted on fb and a local said oh they are remodeling. Im in construction didnt look like they are building anything.

As someone who works at a grocery store, that looks like it could be a refrigeration issue and the products were moved to a meat cooler to avoid a loss while it's being fixed.

The store I work at is well stocked, even the TP aisle.

Re: Grocery doom incoming?
I went shopping in the woods today. It was fully stocked. Saw whitetail deer, snow shoe hares, grouse, turkey. The stream was full of trout, the lake had tons of crawdads. The landlocked salmon are spawning and the season opened today. I put up gallons and gallons of berries and the apple trees are loaded. I have plenty to eat for years to come and I'm just a pauper. I go to the store for amusement mostly. Candy Bar. Sumatran coffee. I don't really need anything in there. One whole wall in my house is 3 lb coffee cans to the ceiling. I should buy more tallow/lard for grinding deer meat into burger. Just about all of my meat and fish i harvest myself and all of my fruits and berries i pick myself. I make my own bread. Mill grain. Brew my own beer. Grow my own weed. I started not trusting where things were going a long time ago. I've been prepped for 20 years for the crap we are seeing now.
Flathead National Forest was fully stocked today.

NWO Grocery is running out of food. Look around. NWO is running out of time. Stop shopping at that place. Accelerate their collapse, before they accelerate yours.

There is plenty of food at normal stores, and even more at the farmers market.

Re: Grocery doom incoming?
Here in Austin, TX the grocery stores are mostly ok, but I do find that some of the things that I like to buy are generally sold out.

Like a few weeks in a row my favorite onion rings were out. So when I saw them this week I purchased 4 bags.

And yesterday I went to buy some chips and the chips I wanted were sold out as well as a bunch of other chips. So I picked up a bag of the grocery store brand.

But yes eventually this will be normal ESPECIALLY when they start pushing the COVID doom again this fall and winter. Hopefully by then I will be living on a couple of acres further out in the country with a nice air conditioned storage shed that I can use to stock up on tons of food.

Re: Grocery doom incoming?
they are using marxist bolshevic tactics to destroy the west - starvation is an integral component of that strategy that continues to work because people are not educated about it.
however glp has a thread on this on the regular so it's really become a cry wolf issue. you can store food and try to grow your own but hiding out and attempting to be self-sufficient isn't going to beat the globalist death machine in the long haul.

It was more than refrigerated items that were out at my store. Canned goods, bread, snacks, paper products.

I just got an instacart order from Sam's Club, got my pork chops fine. Also a pack of turkey lunch meat.

From what I have heard, vacation destination cities' stores are better stocked. You might try that if you aren't far from one.

Food shortages will be the last and greatest shortage.

Heard from someone that even the schools can no longer guarantee lunches for the children, pack accordingly.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71533013

Well it is no surprise that schools are having trouble securing food when EVERY school child in the USA is now getting a free breakfast and lunch. Even those with parents with a huge income.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80643023

I wait until it goes on-sale for $5.99 which is still way too expensive. But I say what the heck and sometimes buy it anyway. But no way in hell I am paying more than that. I would buy it regularly if it was cheaper.

Allot of times it has been way too salty lately anyway and not as good as it used to be. So here I am spending $5.99 for so salty bacon you can't even eat it.

You know what. F Oscar Myer.
