It's tough for me to believe they can't make the helmets concussion proof.

What kind of person kills young children? That's soulless. I dont know the situation but this sounds really messed up.

Read that the 32 year old shooter's family lived nearby. From everything I have read so far, the physician was loved by many.

This scumbag killed the grandchildren, too! Horrid!

Perfectly timed for Chairman Joe’s gun control edicts to be announced today.

They’ve actually made the situation WORSE with the helmet design changes. The illusion of protection given by them has altered the way players play the sport. Where there were once huge shoulder pads and weaker helmets, a player made every effort to duck their head out of the way. Now, it’s completely different.

That’s the toughest part for me to digest. It hurts me way, deep down...and I’m not usually an empathetic person.

Lots of people suffer concussions. They don't kill people, especially children. This guy was evil. I'll bet his teammates already knew that.

I never heard of him. I'll bet he was a stand-out football player in high school, did well at his small college, didn't make it big in the NFL...in other words, didn't become famous and earn millions in the NFL, so he took it out on the physician and his family. Also kills a guy working at the home?

That's just pure evil.

To further my point...I don’t think there is any such thing as ‘concussion proof.’ No matter what they do with the design to soften the blows to the head with padding and impact plates, you’re still always going to have a fragile organ (the brain) floating inside a hard shell (the skull.) Any violent and sudden stop of the head won’t stop the brain from continuing to travel...until it smacks against the skull.

As I noted, they made the situation WORSE when they upgraded the helmets.

If you're shot in the foot or hand, I would think that is considered a "non-serious" gun-shot wound. I'm assuming the victim with a "serious gunshot wound" isn't doing very well if this thug was able to kill 5 others.
