Probably brain injured. He suffered multiple concussions in the NFL. One of the British rag mags has an article about how that doctor had recently cut off his meds. Not sure what he was taking. His father says football messed him up.

I'll look for more updates, but they're still looking for a motive.

The parents of the shooter lived nearby, and the shooter was a patient of the physician. They never said if he was treating him at the time or had treated him only in the past.

Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) is a degenerative brain disease that can only be diagnosed during an autopsy after the death of the sufferer.

The shooter's family and the media is blaming it on football injuries saying "he was a good kid. Football messed him up."

Media reports: "Adams suffered at least two concussions late in the 2012 season with the Oakland Raiders."

Adams, 32, played in 78 NFL games over six seasons for six teams. He joined the 49ers in 2010 as a seventh-round draft pick out of South Carolina State, and though he rarely started, he went on to play for New England, Seattle, Oakland and the New York Jets before finishing his career with the Atlanta Falcons in 2015.

As a rookie, Adams suffered a severe ankle injury and never played for the 49ers again. Later, with the Raiders, he had two concussions over three games in 2012.

I say he was frustrated because, as a football player, he wasn't good enough. Perhaps a drug addict and wanted drugs, which the ethical doctor wouldn't give him. Played for six teams in six seasons. He never was a starter.

I know...how horrid to kill those kids. How heartbreaking to think that their parents thought they were having a good time with grandma and grandpa. Wonderful and loving family.

This 6th person to die, he was at the victims' home, repairing the HVAC system.

Can you imagine, he was just doing the job he does every day at somebody's house, & some psychopath came barging up in there killing everyone.

It was very targeted.

I'm sure this was the doctor that did the surgery on him, and he probably blamed the botched repair on the tanking of his career.

I'm glad they're all Black, cept for HVAC guy, that way we don't have to hear about race in this one.

I know, and I read that he's the one who called for help. He didn't call 911 because he didn't know the address. He called his boss, who had the address, and the boss called 911.

Reports said he was in serious condition, but I thought for sure he'd pull through.

I tend to agree with you. I just read an article that he was depressed because "he missed football."

He was never a starter. His career consisted of playing for six teams in six seasons. In other words, he wasn't good. He never became a millionaire like so many NFL players, so he took it out on six innocent people. What a loser. I don't buy the concussion excuse.

I laughed when I saw a headline describe him as NFL "Star." No one knows who the hell he is.

Okay...so I watch ABC's "Bachelor" at times. When the series starts, I'm always interested in who the bachelors are and what they look like, age, their occupation.

For EVERY "Pro Football Player" they list (and there usually are a few of them every season, I research and laugh. I find they played a few games for minor teams or practiced at football camps. NEVER played in a pro game. lol

In fact, the latest one was Matt James. The series just ended. Black guy. They introduced him as a former pro football player. lol

Matt James he was a wide receiver for Wake Forest from 2011 to 2014. He had mini-camp tryouts with the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints of the National Football League in May and June 2015, but was not signed by either team.

What drugs was Adams on, why he was on them, and why did the doctor stop prescribing them?
