Shades of the prison-house begin to close Upon the growing Boy, But he beholds the light, and whence it flows, He sees it in his joy; The Youth, who daily farther from the east Must travel, still is Nature's priest, And by the vision splendid Is on his way attended; 75 At length the Man perceives it die away, And fade into the light of common day. [link to www.bartleby.com] William Wordsworth 1770-1850 Wonderful poem, reminded me of this song. "When the end shines from the deep and all the hate and all the hell that history has released will tremble before your valor if you just get down on your knees and promise to all your children true that you will live in peace. Where's the light to shine on me? Oh send me something, send me please. Cleanse my body. Close my eyes. Naked and prepared to die. In the starry atmosphere when all the questions disappear. And pressure with a salty taste, exalts the tears that soak your face." Last Edited by Publican on 11/26/2016 02:43 AM visit my blog die spammeroAz9cP |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71885904 "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his lifespan? And why do you worry about clothes? Consider how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these. " Is desire not the cousin of worry? Do we not desire and worry whether we shall obtain that which we desire? Is this desire to improve not tinged with doubt and worry? The worry that we are less than we could be. The doubt that we are imperfect as we are. Last Edited by Publican on 11/26/2016 02:47 AM visit my blog die spammeroAz9cP |

(OP) User ID: 36232976 United States 11/26/2016 03:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I get it. Been suffering for years, basically all my "little" problems added up (headaches/migraines/various pain/discomfort/OCD/bad constpipation/depression/inability to feel "anthing" good). I'll feel shit for ages and finally get used to it and able to tolerate it enough to shrug it off and just "get on with things." Then BOOM as if by magic I'll randomly have a good day (for seemingly NO REASON) and just like that my tolerance resets and it'sack to suffering again. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73491107 I'm right there with you. I've been on antidepressants and antipsychotic medications for a while but I've since weaned myself off of them because although I didn't have as much negative self talk or negative thoughts going on; I didn't have much of anything going on. I was a blank slate. I feel everything far too deeply and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I want to be able to feel, even if I must feel sorrow or pain or heartache. I want to learn to transmute these feelings into something more; not run from them and self medicate. But the more good we experience the more we crave the good times and become increasingly dissatisfied with the daily doldrums of existence. It almost makes me think there might be true reward in stoicism. In non-attachment to either good times or bad times but just to see them as times that come and go like the clouds in the sky. Self betterment. etc. But how much of desire is productive and how much of it is completely and utterly selfish and, more often than not, destructive. visit my blog die spammeroAz9cP |

You desire eternal blackness and nothingness. You desire to extinguish your flame and to extinguish life. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 51085591 Yes, eternal life through death.
