You should get enough vitamen D that way. I am convinced that sun block and Pop which leeches out calcium from the bones causes osteoporosis! By the way one of the main ingredients in Tamiflu is Star Anise! In fact the Chinese Minister of Health advised the people to cook with lots of it in order to stave off the flu! Quoting: Eagle # 1 683420In the EARLY 1930s, when vitamines were first being recognized/discovered, it was found that vitamine D helped with a "disease" called rickets ( actually from lack of D ). They decided to force milk companies to add vitamine D to milk to stop 'rickets', or poor bone formation in children. HOWEVER, at the time they did NOT KNOW there were FOUR D vitamines, D1, D2, D3 and D4. By shere accident (?) they picked D3 to add to milk, and it is the ONLY D vitamine that humans CAN'T absorb into their bodies. It has NEVER BEEN CHANGED ! Ask you local dairy man like I did, where I have bought milk for 44 YEARS; he knows NOTHING about which D vitamine goes into his milk; ONLY that it does ! The 'Good Old Boys Science Group' just NEVER admits a MISTAKE OR, changes it when confronted ! Check it out. Prove me WRONG ! Eagle What I would like to know is, just who is in the "Good Old Boys Science Group?" Is it just a bunch of Nazis? How do they get doctors to go along with their bad science and convince everyone else that they actually know what they are talking about? |

Quoting: Lastcall 678487Whenever I come across people purporting a "natural cure" I always keep this one in mind. [link to www.denvernaturopathic.com] This was a "natural cure" that was in most homes between 1915-1930 What finally convinced the public that this was not healthy thing to do was when several individual using it HAD THEIR JAWS ROT AWAY AND FALL OFF....they went on a national tour to towns across the nation to show people how dangerous it was. You can get 46% increased risk of lung cancer from beta-carotene (vitamin A) And it blocks vitamin D which leads to hip fractures. This is not snake oil. This is your body requiring its nourishment. "In 1999, Vieth indirectly asked the medical community to produce any evidence 10,000 units of vitamin D a day was toxic, saying "Throughout my preparation of this review, I was amazed at the lack of evidence supporting statements about the toxicity of moderate doses of vitamin D." He added: "If there is published evidence of toxicity in adults from an intake of 250 ug (10,000 IU) per day, and that is verified by the 25(OH)D concentration, I have yet to find it." If you had, AND believe me, no matter HOW MUCH D3 you take, the body will NOT absorb it. Before most of your times here on Earth, there was on radio WOR from NY City a Dr. Carton Fredricks, who had a radio show five days a week, a proven track record on nutrition and vitamines and a LARGE following. My Mom was one. Because she had the radio on at lunch time to hear Dr Fredricks, I caught many of his shows. He sold/pushed NOTHING! THAT is where I first heard about there being FOUR D vitamines, and how D3 was the WRONG one chosen to be added to milk. I have NO idea which ones are in vitamine pills and combined with calcium tables, so I can't go there. Eagle PS thanks for the support, Turtles Know ! |

Plenty of references to age, but hardly any comparisons to body weight. Just seems like to me that would be an important consideration when taking supplements, AND script meds. In order to repel most sickness you need at least 50 ng/ml of blood. The average America is around 20. If you get above 60 ng/ml then you repel most cancers. According to Dr. Eisenstein (www.homefirst.com), the average American adult should take at least 5,000 IU/day, children above 100 lbs. should take that amount too. If you have a chronic condition, you should be taking 10,000 IU/day. If you spend 15-20 min. in the sun with 40% body exposure between 10 am & 2 pm, you'll get about 15,000 IU. I've been taking 10,000 IU/day all winter & I have not had one bought with the flu whereas usually I have at least 3 bouts of the flu & 1 spring cold. vaccinefreehealth blogspot com The risk far outweighs any benefit as the risk will vary from child to child. facebook.com/graphixyourway |
