Let's see how long this fire lasts. Right now where I live in Northwest Connecticut, the visibility is much less than 2 miles and the smoke smog is pretty dense. I cannot take deep breaths without irritation and I have no lung or other ailments. If this fire lasts a while, just the smoke would be very detrimental to health.

I think something more nefarious is afoot.

Have they put any Chemtrails poisons into the air? This smoke gives them cover and carte Blanche to run any kind of Chemtrails program and drop really bad toxic chemicals on us. Dioxin? Something else?

Or have they put toxic chemicals into the Canadian forests to burn into the atmosphere with the burning wood?

Or are they dropping airborne Ebola or Marburg virus on top of us flying above the smoke so no one can see?

This kind of fire and smoke has never happened before around here. I've lived here a very long time.

Something big is happening or going to happen! I have a really bad feeling about this situation.

I live just south of Syracuse (Onondaga county) and it was terrible. I’ve never seen this. I’ve been to Cali during a wildfire (was scary) and other places that just had bad air quality. This was a little different. They were also doing aerial spraying (can not confirm) last night the news said they were going to spray for mosquitoes and pests over Onondaga and Madison county. I don’t understand why they are spraying when we are already are having trouble with air. Wasn’t a fun day. My anxiety has been through the rough.

Yes I've seen it, I'm right in the middle of it.

The sun looked so weird and when I took a pic of it the red color didn't show up in the photo except for the outer ridge.

Yes, I live in Ottawa. Most of the day was pretty bad although once we had some rain the air cleared a bit. It's not too bad now.

I think we are primarily affected by a fire close to Calibogie. This fire has now been contained, which may be why the air quality is better again here in Ottawa. However, there are lots of fires in northern Quebec, just above us.

South of ottawa worked outside all day, farm work, hazy smokey, but I feel just fine

This os all the result of decades of poor forret management, canadian forrssts are so full of debris, dead fall, and damage from storms, all a recipe for combustion at the slightest spark, lighting, quad exaust manifold sparks, heat, glass shards, from campers smashing bottles in crown camping areas.

Canadians used to be encouraged to clear out forrest floors as a soirce of free heating wood etc, laws changed and forrests protected, less and less people willing to take the risk of gathering deadfall, and dry wood from forrests floors, making forrests dry brush filled powder kegs ready to ignite.

This is all to push climate change agendas, to demonstrate how we need much stricter environmental policies etc. The government set us up, and the solution will be hyper inflation, carbon taxes, and a dwindling middle class until there are the ruling elite and peasants.

The smokey air was even sipping into my office today thru the glass it was that bad. I was getting a scratchy throat even inside. Driving with the windows down wasn't so bad tho cuz it was quite windy today.

Nope the smoke we are getting here in the ottawa valley is 90% from qubec fires, the calabogie fire is very small, in size relatively speaking. There will be a much thicker blanket from the queerbec fires overnight into the am.

I'm in Queens NY. My son just came home about 2 hours ago coughing, and saying his lungs hurt/burned. He used albuterol and it felt better, but still coughing. I haven't left the house all day so it didn't bother me. When I went to close a window and I could smell smoke. The sky was cloudy all day not sure if from clouds or smoke.

It wouldn’t be an issue if we had some RAIN. We haven’t had any worthwhile rain in at least a month. We’ve got loads of our own dust and pollen mucking up the air…Canada’s fires are just the cherry on top.

We had good rain a few days ago here, saw white shit in the puddles... thought it was pollen but now I think it was ash.

Clicked on it and there are 66 fires in Quebec area. Interesting number.

The landscapers will be out into force tommorow getting everyone's lawns ready for the weekend. Endless gas blowers blowing every speck of toxic dust and crap from the streets and gutters in front of the houses into the air. Should be a pleasant day to not breathe.
