Yea here on the shore too I thought maybe they were trying to get rid of the lantern fly nests in the trees But who the fuck knows |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 85912132 Canada 06/06/2023 06:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm in BC, and this year the smoke isn't bad this year, but the summer has just started. Generally, the wild fires really start when Albertans go on vacation in BC and start 1000s of fires in BC, and burn the place down every year. Its annoying. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 85910868 Here in NJ the sky is yellow and dark, and smells like death. It's not that bad here in Southern Ontario. Why is it worse farther south? I’m wondering too What if this isn’t actual fire smoke How do we know this isn’t a coverup for something else like a leak |

It's bad enough in southern Ontario to give me a scratchy throat and it smells of burning trees but yes Southern Ontario isn't getting the worst of it. |

The biggest ones are listed on this map, along with the direction of the smoke they're generating: [link to firesmoke.ca (secure)] Here's another useful website that you're all going to need this summer, so you'll know whether or not it's safe to go outside: [link to map.purpleair.com (secure)] |

Sun is out but very hazy grey sky. Looking across any distance you can see the haze in the air. The rating for this area in above link is BAD air quality. Next level up is hazardous. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Quite disturbing. User ID: 85333989 United States 06/06/2023 07:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We get air quality warnings on the radio in Milwaukee, and I noticed the haze in the air even before I heard them. I wasn't surprised when I heard it was wildfires in Canada. I've seen these conditions before. 230 here, but 0 there. |

I use the arrows at the far ends of the track to go frame by frame, it just doesn't look right. It almost seems like there are fires happening where the clouds are enlarging as you shift from early to late. Rooster |

I’m in central Ohio and we’ve had air quality warnings for the past few days now without a good explanation. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79742430 I am in Canton and don't care at least the haze is taking away those damn ridiculous temperatures from last week. It can stay until October. |

The air outside smells of burning trees. Quoting: Busy Beaver I’m in NJ. We should be used to pollution but this is something else. My throat and eyes are burning and there is no escape. Thanks Canada. I am used to air pollution too but yes this is something else. This is smothering. |
