I'm in BC, and this year the smoke isn't bad
this year, but the summer has just started.

Generally, the wild fires really start when
Albertans go on vacation in BC and start
1000s of fires in BC, and burn the place down
every year. Its annoying.

It's not that bad here in Southern Ontario. Why is it worse farther south?

Yeah, but that's normal for New Jersey.

We get air quality warnings on the radio in Milwaukee, and I noticed the haze in the air even before I heard them.

I wasn't surprised when I heard it was wildfires in Canada.

Not well versed in atmospheric physics, but any particular reason why the smoke clouds seem to be enlarging when above central NY here in this loop? I use the arrows at the far ends of the track to go frame by frame, it just doesn't look right. It almost seems like there are fires happening where the clouds are enlarging as you shift from early to late.

I’m in NJ. We should be used to pollution but this is something else. My throat and eyes are burning and there is no escape. Thanks Canada.

I am in Canton and don't care at least the haze is taking away those damn ridiculous temperatures from last week. It can stay until October.

I am used to air pollution too but yes this is something else. This is smothering.

I just know in NE Ohio we are never going to get rain again. Our grass was over with by middle of May, like burnt out straw. We don't get any snow in winter either.
