On a flat earth the sun has to, mysteriously, spiral in and outwards between the two. Now, the northern one (circle to travel) is smaller then the southern one on a flat earth. That means the sun has to travel faster when it's over the tropic of capricorn then when it's over the tropic of cancer. Fact.
