It would seem to me….that…. if such a crime is punishable up to death, that someone who is committing that crime is considered to be committing such an act as to cause a person to be reasonably in fear of losing their life, which would allow someone to legally use deadly force against the perpetrator(s)? Would that be a reasonable approach/defense in court, for justifiable homocide against someone who is actively committing/violating color of law, or, an individual who is unknowingly assisting someone who is violating color of law? (ie, in the sense the driver of a get away car is guilty of murder, who may or may not be aware the person in the bank is committing armed robbery and commits murder with a deadly weapon willfully)
