That's what I was wondering. I thought it'd be closed due to Veteran's day.

Yesterday judge said they would be on today.

Good morning! I'm ready to see what today's court will be.

Morning. I think the first thing they will address this morning is the Defences motion for a mistrial.

Can someone explain to me what the prosecution exactly said yesterday that the judge got mad about the 5th amendment? I was watching but I didn't understand what he did that freaked everyone out. I understood the part where he brought up something that the judge said not to earlier but I didn't understand completely about the 5th amendment problem.

Yep, I think so too.

It happened after the Prosecutor ask Kyle the same question over and over and Kyle kept giving the same answer.

Then the Judge went Ballistic and said something about 'Borderline violation of the Defendant's right to remain silent"

He was saying basically that Kyle was open to talk to the media about the case but didn't talk to detectives; Trying to insinuate that it shows guilt by doing that.

I heard the defense mention to the judge they planned on calling one of the witnesses back to dispute the Gaige Grosskreutz testimony that Rittenhouse "racked" his riffle before shooting him. At the time Grosskreutz said that I smelled bullshit because that would have caused a live round to be discharged from the riffle and the state crime lab did not report any live rounds being found at the scene. Obviously Grosskreutz is lying and using the racking of the rifle as an excuse for him to point his handgun at Rittenhouse.

The prosecution challenged Kyle in front of the jury about his lack of disclosure of his personal story about the events on the 25th.

This was a criticism of Kyle having had maintained his constitutional right under the 5th amendment to preserve the right not to speak.

A big No No.

You know what's odd, when this first happened and the Videos popped up on social media, I thought he cleared a misfire when he was on the ground turning towards Grosskreutz.

Maybe the author of the video, said that, and it stuck in my mind.

Thanks for the explanation on the 5th. I thought the prosecutor brought up many things trying to prove guilt that was just asinine. "So he only used his foot to try to harm you".
