We are under a water ban now. All water from the tap must be boiled because of bacteria.

I'm in SW Houston and have been under a water boil notice since Tuesday.

Another issue for texas to whine about. My god it was a little storm. I have been without power for a month and just about every year since I can remember we have been out of power for a couple of weeks or longer at a time every year. No one whined and cried like I have seen texas do. Op you should be ashamed of yourself real Texans are rolling over in their graves at these si boys these days.

Boil orders dont have anything to do with the water facility. There is an open pipe in the water line somewhere that has grey water coming in. Thus if you drink the water you may get sick. Usually you won't but there is a chance due to Coli-form bacteria.

You have to shut off your heat which they barely even allow you to use because they're gouging you something like $5000 per kw/hour, and you're advised not to drip your faucets to avoid busted water lines because you're running out of water which is now too contaminated to drink without boiling.


Here's a suggestion.

Burn your wooden furniture to melt snow and then replace everyone in government in your stupid state.

No actually it wasn't prepared at all. Our grid is separate from the East and West coast grids and ours was NOT built to handle these conditions under this amount of stress.

Additionally , Texas is the second most populated state in America. California is the only state with more people and they literally turn off people's power just to prevent wildfires from power lines being blown down by the wind.

And thirdly , anyone who knows anyone about electrical , knows that HEATING ELEMENTS use vastly more electricity , than your A/C does.
