Awareness is indeed panacea / the remedy of all ills, if our increased awareness urges us to make better choices for ourselves and for humanity. Hence the aim of this thread - and in fact all my threads - which intend to give a new impulse and perspective, especially to those who find themselves in a "rut", for whatever reason. There will always be an answer to problems is we "reframe" them, and if we take over responsibility for causing them. It is like recognizing the part we played, and deciding to take on a new role.

If one's mind is on a profane and purely material level, not recognizing that there is anything greater than oneself, then no progress can be made. If mind is deceased or poisoned, it requires cleansing. Mind actually covers everything - mind is universal consciousness, and what we feed into that consciousness collectively will result in the quality of life we have. We all contribute, irrespective of the quality of our thoughts and actions. To improve and cleanse ourselves, without comparing ourselves to others, on a daily basis, is to uplift humanity at the same time.

If irresponsible behaviour angers you, how is this a mirror of irresponsible behaviour in yourself?

Bumping this one because it is important. At this present time, people are being split into two groups - the great sorting - those who are able to self-reflect, learn and progress spiritually, and those who have fixed ideas, immoveable world views, lacking the ability or humility to contemplate. This means that those we consider to be close friends, may no longer seem close. This means that we are traveling a different road from them. This means that we will meet new companions along the road we are presently travelling. Those in the self-reflecting category, which includes critical thinking about everything which is happening at the moment, may choose to hold their tongue / act inauthentically, in order to be able to continue to accompany the friends on the other road. Yet this would be hemming their own progress.
