Has anyone been able to find information on the alleged pedophile janitor, Joshua Lee Cope?

I'm unable to find ANYTHING

These pedophiles are usually put in the system quickly and I can't find records, mugshots, social media, court dates, NOTHING.

And they STILL haven't reopened????

News stations are reporting they reopened this past Monday, but local citizens and eyewitnesses (including 2 posters on this thread) are saying that in fact, it has not been reopened.

After the "official" reason for the closure came out, news dropped the story.

What's interesting to me anyway, is if you do a search on Twitter for the "janitor's" name, Joshua Lee Cope, it only turns up 3 results.

Look, sorry but I wanted to post a complete record of all classified satellite transits, just in case someone could link something to this incident. I didn't bump them but I have no regrets about coding the program that generated them or posting them. As far as I know the janitor had not yet been charged for the CP, though that should come along any time now if true. I do intend to reach out to someone at the observatory to do an interview, hopefully someone who was familiar with this janitor.

I think its all a cover up and they will just let it die down.

Haven't been back down since Tuesday after it "opened"- last week. No one there then, not one effing soul except a person who drove up to investigate also.

I would like an answer to who this perp is and when his court date is. I would like to know if he is in jail. I know all of it is bullshit, but yep, just dropped...the official answer has satisfied the non-critical thinking masses.

My question, rhetorical as it may be for good reason, is legit.

I've been following this thread but missed where they named the janitor until I saw it today so I searched his name and found an article in N Y Times (don't know if we are allowed to link them). It does say no one has been charged. It's dated Sept 20th.

Here are some interesting/odd snips:

-The mysterious closure of a solar observatory in New Mexico earlier this month happened after the FBI opened a child pornography investigation involving a janitor's computer found at the observatory

-The search warrant filed last week in federal court in Las Cruces said the facility's chief observer, who was not identified, told FBI agents in August he found a laptop computer with child pornography several months earlier but did not immediately report the discovery to authorities because he was "distracted" by an unspecified urgent issue at the observatory.

-FBI spokesman Frank Fisher said Thursday that no one has been charged and the investigation is ongoing.

-After Cope could not find his laptop, the court documents said, he began to act frantically and told the chief observer that there was a "serial killer in the area, and that he was fearful that the killer might enter the facility and execute someone."
