saying that polystyrene may have been used to cover fascias on the flats....

I can confirm that our council, although not London, just outside did indeed carry out the same refurb on flats in my area, covering the whole of the outsides of the buildings with a polystyrene ontop of the brick work, then painting brickwork on top of these, although I reasoned at the time with myself they must be fire resistant/treated....
