Re: The Curious Case of Ted Cruz and Jose Medellin
Well all political candidates have received money from Super PAC's to date...including Trump, so I don't even understand why that's an issue.

Cruz is an actual Republican, and they acknowledged he was their best chance to beat the Johnny-Come-Lately pseudo-republican Trump. Cruz has been a long time Republican, but he's also been a thorn in their side, first as Texas Solicitor General, then from his Senate seat.

Nothing I've seen in his votes in the Senate, or his positions indicates anything is about to change in his ideology...unlike Trump who changes his ideology every time he goes on TV...
 Quoting: Saddletramp

Oh please...Cruz is the only one who is claiming to be an "outsider" while being just the opposite.

I guess Cruz paying off Walker's campaign debt in return for Walker's endorsement doesn't bother you either? How about Cruz's former roommates saying that Cruz will be whatever you want him to be just to be elected?

No?

Maybe you should listen to these guys:

I will leave you with this...right now in this country we do NOT need another freakin' lawyer even one who has memorized the Constitution, we need a CEO who will kick ass and take names. This country is in very bad shape and the last thing we need is another demagogue who thinks that his short, practically non-existent resume makes him qualified to take on this bloated, corrupt mess in Washington.

We need a doer and not a talker with a screechy voice...

You stay with the guy who has convinced himself that G-d wants Ted Cruz to be president and I will answer and repeat what I read a few days ago..."If G-d wanted Ted Cruz to be president of the United States then He would have made sure that Cruz was born here".
 Quoting: davvi

I wouldn't describe Cruz as an "Outsider", anymore than I would describe long time Congressman Ron Paul as an outsider. I think Ron Paul and Ted Cruz are both "Anti-Establishment", and I think that's born out with the story in the OP and his record for the last four years in the Senate.

And regarding this "CEO who will kick ass and take names"...where you gonna find him? Donald Trump has taken bankruptcy more than anyone else in the Casino business, his business record has not really been exemplary at all. He's a much better salesman than he's ever been in Real Estate.

"If God wanted Ted Cruz to be president of the United States then He would have made sure that Cruz was born here..." Wow Davvi, bringing God into it, that's desperate. You're getting very shrill here.

But's it's funny. Here ya go I'll throw one back at you, "If God didn't want Cruz to be President of the United States he would make sure a court or election board found him ineligible..."
 Quoting: Saddletramp

"Wow Davvi, bringing G-d into it?" Are you for real? Cruz and one of Cruz's biggest promoters brings G-d into it every freakin' time they open their mouths. Beck claims Christians are NOT good Christians if they vote Trump. How dare he and how dare Cruz not disavow that comment? BTW, where is Cruz's best buddy Glen Beck these days? Has Cruz no further need of him?

Let's just compare bankruptcies shall we? We were told that Mitt Romney was a business man extraordinaire while Mitt Romney's companies have gone bankrupt 22% of the time.

Compare that to Donald Trump whose companies have gone bankrupt 0.04% of the time. I know who I would want on my board of directors, how about you?

Aside from that, Trump has actually accomplished something for himself and made money for his investors...what has Ted Cruz done? Outside of sucking on the teat of government and greasing the skids for his wife at Goldman-Sachs what has he accomplished?

:3-25 Cruz 1:
 Quoting: davvi

Actually all of Donald's bankruptcies have been in his Casino business'. He's gone bankrupt more than ANY OTHER Casino magnate out there...

[link to money.cnn.com]

You say all of these people have made money, yet his own company had to eject him from the Board of Directors on his New Jersey Casino's because of sited mismanagement, and yes, subsequent bankruptcy...

Trump has been sued by his own investors on numerous occasions. His bankruptcies have cost jobs to contractors that were left with unpaid invoices, and money to service companies and contractors that had unsecured claims in Chapter ll. His business practices have been the subject of many lawsuits and he is now banned from owning or operating a casino in New Jersey...

Nice word game you are trying to play there. Rafael did support amnesty. Now he doesn't because he knows it is unpopular and is running for president. sheesh same weak denial as always from you.

Rafael's own words contradicting his stance on amnesty. His poison pill was a lie made up to try and save his ass.

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)]

I betcha wish you still had the power to ban people daring to post anything unsavory regarding daddy cruz.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71690837

I never banned people for their political opinion, and I still don't. I ban for personal attacks, I ban for spamming repetitive shit...same as always. I'll leave up your repetitive shit because you make my point.

Cruz NEVER accepted the Gang of Eight or Obama Amnesty bills, he was the Senator that KILLED the Gang of Eight Amnesty. Now you've taken some of his speeches about a path to citizenship and twisted that like he's been in favor of the Amnesty bills put forward to date, but nothing could be further from the truth...

I know, when you get proved wrong, you just shift the argument to something else...classic shill tactic, I've already addressed all of these issues...

I notice almost all of your links are to Conservativetreehouse, a proven Trump attack rag. This is precisely the type of disinformation I've been talking about in this thread, a perfect illustration.

Oh so you proved my point, they've been against Cruz all along...

It certainly doesn't bother them to outright lie at the Conservativetree house blog, so what's the point in responding to them? I've addressed these issues with legitimate links, you keep posting fake news...

Thanks for making my point.

The Conservativetreehouse blog has been proven time and time again to be a bunch of shills. They have posted outright lies and represented them as the truth, their credibility is zero...

I've addressed most of the issues you bring up with their bullshit stories, and I've addressed them with legitimate links from legitimate sources...

Yet you continue to source an attack rag with zero credibility...then you get upset when I point that out.

Too fuckin' bad, you're the one who apparently can't read the links I've put up that prove Conservativetreehouse blog is full of lies...

You have no idea what you are saying. You have been consistently wrong on just about everything. What you have posted proved nada. Just regurgitated Rafael's talking points. Your credibility is 0000000. How has it been spending all day shilling and defending Rafael? You even banned people to protect your precious. Talk about credibility lol.

You'll probably continue shilling for him long after this election cycle is over.

Cruz does not support Amnesty, and in fact he was the Senator that introduced the Poison Pill Amendment that shot down the Gang of Eight's Amnesty bill

This is more blatant disinformation from the Trump camp...

Again, Cruz is doubted due to so many "red flags" about the guy.
 Quoting: Cigarette_Smoking_Man

Cruz is doubted due to "so many red flags" due to the incessant campaign of personal destruction being run against him where every and any accusation is trumpeted so constantly and repeatedly for the express sole purpose of demonizing, vilifying and destroying the man in a relentless attack of smearing propaganda.

Wrong.

He's personally disliked because he has an unyielding, warped sense of justice and is personally creepy.
