This second one was as good as any stand alone episode in the history of the show. Very impressed, was kind of worried it might come off a little stale, but they have really created something excellent so far. |

We are conspiracy nuts with tape over our laptop cameras, but a smartphone in our pocket... searching for something we lost a long time ago. We don't know what happened to it, and we don't know if we can get it back, but something inside us won't let it go. So we keep peeling back layers of the onion, looking for the truth... not sure if there will be anything left once all the layers are gone. We chase the truth like a dog chases a car... we probably have no hope of ever catching it and moreover we would have no idea what to do with it if we ever did happen to finally get it into our grasp. We all have our own personal Scully, no matter what form she takes in our own personal case... telling us we are crazy or paranoid all the while knowing deep down something's not right. We want to believe, but we aren't even sure anymore what that means anymore... I think this is why this show resonates so strongly with me... it's either that or it's the fact that I've wanted to get into Scully's pants since the mid 90's. I don't know, I've been drinking since noon but that's my take on it anyways. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 70804826 United States 01/25/2016 10:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Personally I do not believe in "aliens". So I like the new direction. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70561639 I do think that before Noah's flood the Nephilim may have had highly advanced technology that survived a few generations after the flood. There is clear archeology evidence of amazing ancient technology (Coral castle guy who figured out how to move huge stone blocks), machine tools, nukes, spacecraft, etc. Some of this ancient technology is still known and secret and you can be sure the elites guard it. Tesla figured out zero point energy, although probably not how to control it. The sightings of the "greys" I take to be hybrids from classified experiments....human DNA and I don't know what. Amphibian maybe. Horrific, abominable. Looking forward to the series. The coral castle guy also built in a astronomical markers .. 1 in particular for the plieadies .. |

Most of us know the hypothesis, about alien/new tech being vetted though channels. The whole alien gnome plays into the tinkering by the Annukia *spelling? I like to say the best conspiracies are the ones to crazy to believe. The negative for me, is that I don't see him as X file guy, after all the californication. |

That is the greatest threat a seeker of truths can face in this age. When we stumble onto a plot, we become so fixated on which side is perpetrating it, we lose the plot itself. It's all a game. And if we want to see the unsullied picture, we have to accept that and move past our petty "political" fixations. It's the line between interest and belief. - The Spider Kid |

They also lump it all in together - 9/11, Roswell, aliens, free energy, shadow government etc. So now anyone trying to talk about those topics immediately gets dismissed as someone who just watches too much X Files. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70491234 As an experiencer myself .. I firmly concur!!! |

It was really excited to see the old show on again, especially since I loved the X-files from the beginning. However, it has become another method to trash conservatives. I love the X-files. I wish the new episodes weren’t so politically motivated. Quoting: Neila 1267519 Agreed...but I can't help but watch...loved the old show too much. |

Wordsworth Dana Scully was the original debunking AC. Face it, for most uf us the X-Files was our genesis. X-files was my higher education. "In search of..." is the one that got me started. When my mother rolls her eyes and thinks I'm weird - I remind her it's her fault. She should never have let me watch that show. God Bless President TRUMP! GOD BLESS AMERICA!! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 956678 United States 01/25/2016 10:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Outside of the wonky awkward porch scene between Mulder and Scully which was poorly written and horribly overacted, it was actually pretty good. Joel McHale does a very very good job of combining an Art Bell/George Noory/Glenn Beck vibe into his character. David Duchovny is the weak link in the show unfortunately, and if it's not him sleepwalking through a scene, he's just a shitty overactor. Gillian Anderson can do no wrong. I don't care if she IS a carpet muncher. I think she's beautiful. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3446 Hope the writing gets better and Duchovny can wake the fuck up. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh....and the CGI was pretty dang good for a TV show. WAY better than anything on the SciFi Channel. WAY better. Here ya go... :scully: She looked like a crack whore.... |

I happen to be of Hispanic descent, so it's very likely I have Native American blood. |
