Re: Just worked a 12 hour shift in a kitchen tell me why this life is worth living.
I work all day, come home, and all I read is horrifying things about the world. I'm making almost no money. How is 12 hours possibly worth $90? My time is worth more than that.

Why should I give my time away for money that has no backing, so that the powers at be can just ass ram me forever? Why aren't we fighting back? Why are we killing ourselves slowly with shit jobs?

No matter how much I meditate, how much fun I attempt to have, it always comes back around to remembering that oh yeah, we're living in hell on Earth RIGHT NOW.

We live in a plutocracy this means those who have money make the rules. In English your 90$ is all the people high up (banks investors etc) have decided your worth in that specific task. You cant do much to fight em other than going into business yourself.

The reason we arent fighting back is obvious none of our cultures are warrior cultures any longer where the ruler of the land feared every single day that the army he lead, or his people might turn on him in a heart beat.

Todays goverment does not fear its people, hence why we are where we are.

They fear us. That's why even in Canada, citizens are often treated like criminals and "terrorists".

If they didn't fear us, they wouldn't be so darn busy spying on all of us. ;-)

Naive you are. Trust me, they do not fear us at all or that oppression we deal with from our cops and the spy agencies would never exist. Our Goverment has no fear, or them laws that push us lower and lower would never be even written up.

The leaders of this world are scared shit less of Canadians.

Almost all of our entire natural born (Not immigrant) population is awake or on their way to being awake.

It's like we Canadians are using them for the luxury and once its over we will burn everything lol

They always fear us.

Ever been on the wrong side of the tracks?

Lots of fully automatic weapons in Canada. Cops wont even touch the people who own them.

Take my word for this. They want peace lol

This comment shits me, our governments shouldn't fear us... They work for us, Obama spends day in day out trying to make our lives better so that the voters will like him and Vote Democrat. Western governments and now Russia too are lead by populist politicians looking to give the people perks. This can be proven by looking at the people on welfare in America. Nearly 50 million people collect welfare in one form or another and we say the government is corrupt. That is true the politicians are buying our votes with our tax money and borrowed money from the Chinese and Japanese who buy Treasuries as well as anyone else that will buy government debt.

IF your life is hell then change your outlook so your life is Heaven, if you can't raise the cash to buy your own restaurant then work to the best of your ability and take pride in your work. Sure apply for other higher paid jobs in other kitchens but don't expect them to hire you as there are literally millions of other people looking for work.

Count your blessings, not your curses. Your attitude towards your life can make a Heaven of Hell and a Hell of Heaven.

blackcat Do your job well, then on slow mid week days go home, dress up nicely and casually drop by other establishments when the owners likely to be there.

And remember be cheerful and upbeat, no one wants to hire a lemon drop.

last i checked it was less than 2000 automatic weapons owned by private citizens, that is a far cry from being enough to even stop the cops let alone our military at home.

Our goverment dont want peace and considering the automatic weapons have to be registered even more so than prohibted weapons lets just say your average Canadian is worried about the jail sentence if they shoot that weapon at anything but a target.

Are you a dish pig? By my calculation, you make ~$7/hr...
That's less than the illegals make! Less than the welfares make!
Probably bottle pickers make that!
You should just stay home and churn out babies and stay on the dole!

I did that once.. Yes it sucked but it made me stronger and willing to improve myself. Life is tough kid, so be tougher. Stick it out while you form a plan. Take pride in everything you do, and realize you are certainly not alone in your struggle.

In the meantime, look at the bright side, you wont go hungry.
