Many rural people have a drilled well that requires an electric pump in order to get water. No electricity means, no water. Short of having a hand pump in good working order.. rural people will have to go to rivers and lakes with their buckets to get water, just like the city folk. |

Probably just the rich people though. Then it disappeared. Don't ask me why. Indoor plumbing is possibly the most important thing for "convenient" and sanitary living. I'd rather have running water than the internet. |

(OP) User ID: 630995 Puerto Rico 08/17/2011 09:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ...WAT...? I grew up on a farm in Maryland....no indoor plumbing....What was that......A water hand pump on the porch & an "outhouse" in the backyard...(wada U think that was like...in the middle of winter)...U people R sooooo soft...! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1494041LOL no it don't really bother me to much, I do think that it will be a problem for the sheeple and younger people who have never lived without it. The only thing that I hate about not having running water is having to hand wash my clothes. The outhouse is no different then the porta potties I had to use at my old job. :sigjosh: :ronswansontax: “We have allowed our nation to be over taxed and over regulated and overrun by bureaucrats, the founders would be ashamed of us for what we're putting up with.” Ron Paul . “My idea of a perfect government is one guy who sits in a small room at a desk, and the only thing he’s allowed to decide is who to nuke.
