Stitches if it's deep and wide enough... if not superglue works... besides those... someone invented something a while ago called a bandage... cover with a finger condom (yes thats what we call it) or the whole hand with a glove.. try not to use it, keep above your head until the bleeding slows down... good luck

Good advice.
Superglue works really great for paper cuts. BE SURE to wash cut throughly before gluing.
I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you.

Bandage properly with liberally applied neosporin.. now wrap the bandaid and most of the finger in ducttape. Change it every couple hours.. let it breath during breaks.

I was a line cook for years, so my advice is:

Wrap it up.

Put gloves on.

Don't tell customers.

Quit being a pussy and get back to work.

When I attended college I worked in a kitchen and every single bleeder was fired or had their shifts reduced to nil unless they took action to hide it and deal with it.

when gluing, be on alert that it doesn't become inflamed. If you clean the wound and prep it with an antibacterial solution, then glue, it's almost like you never got the cut. The excess glue on the outside will wear off.

You can find finger cotlets where youd find latex gloves at a drugstore. Its essentially a finger condom.
