Based on what's been going on recently that looked like a good call.

Would like to hear what they were saying. It is possible the manager overreacted but when you cross the counter you should expect anything.

And how many white people would have went through the drive thru 3 times with their order fucked up and not have caused a scene themselves? Why don't those videos get posted because I see them all the time on redit?

Do you usually go behind the counter of a restaurant and act like these two?

Not saying that what was done was okay, but shit happens.

Certain types of people that act without thinking usually have things happen to them that could have easily been prevented by them not acting a certain way.

Do you defend innocent people that are victims of violence, or just those that act arrogantly, violently, stupidly, and then suffer because of their own actions?

Maybe if assholes like those 2 keep showing up on video being shot and burned, they'll eventually learn.

I won't count on it though.

Holy crap look again....it looks like the employee took hot deep fat fry grease out of the tub and threw it.....That would be way worse than hot water.

Are you usually invited into a restaurant after hours and locked inside because they can't get your order right?

They already shouldn't have been there so I'm not sure it matters if they stepped behind the counter, they could have just wanted to see why the food was taking so long.

Or they were being threatening, you still can't shoot someone dead because they step behind the counter, or throw a bucket of boiling water on them.

And if the races were reversed everyone here would be singing the opposite tune. It's ok though, they'll get what's coming to them and so will you don't worry.

Not much going on maybe the large lady is arguing with cashier? No violence anyway? Then all of a sudden they are behind the counter getting water thrown at them.

You can absolutely bet that the two dark creatures threatened the employees with battery.

As far as I am concerned today when you are threatened by someone in this manner and they come into the employees only section of the business (and I am sure the employees to them to stop) they got exactly what they deserved.
I also agree it is good to see the employees defend themselves from imminent harm.

A customer going behind the counter uninvited is a threat.

It does not bother me in the least that threat was mitigated with great haste by the actions of the Taco Bell employee.

I'm not one who wants to play the game of tapping on each other's heads for a while, so someone has a story to tell later.

I fully endorse asymmetrical means in situations such as this.

There seems to be a whole culture of people who need to learn what it's like to be civil even when you don't get "your way" or if things do not turn out the way that you hoped.

I learned a long time ago to not get into battles with the people preparing one's food anyway. You have no idea what they might do to it.

Best to just take the L and move on.

Unfortunately, those two took an even bigger L because they do not know how to act.

They'll prefer they didn't get burned to having those millions.

Their lives are changed forever.
