I am not autistic but I do have a family member who is and she speaks very similar to that woman. She's articulate and intelligent. There is a spectrum of autism. What I saw is a woman who probably has what was once called Asperger's syndrome, this is now classed as being on the autistic spectrum.

I had to pick up my daughter so I missed that part. I wish the defense would object (if possible, I’m not a lawyer). Anytime an AR is called an assault rifle, it needs to be clarified that AR DOES NOT stand for assault rifle.

In some anti-gun states, there are legal definitions of "assault rifle," and such an objection could be made, but I don't think that exists in wisconsin.

I think the prosecution specifically had him work that in. They should have asked him if he carried a similar weapon in his squad vehicle. To me thats just a term the left coined to make magazine-fed rifles seem sinister. In my opinion, and I am sure the majority aware of this case, a Directed Verdict is a reasonable conclusion. The prosecution has failed time and again to prove any intent or evidence of murder, or at least much to the contrary of self defense.
