But might be nice to have some fresh meat once in awhile. you all talk romantic for the times when open fields were empty for people and what nature was offering was belonging to you you must never forget that even if you have suplies for 2-3 years the biggest need is to defend them, because your big enemy is the hungry hordes from the cities they will come for your supplies or even you to eat you rhey will come in hundreds or thousands looking for everything suspicius snifing for fire or food or anything strange and when they find you, they will, you are dead meat even if you are one two families with all nato weaponry, you cant fight them, you will fall the only way to survive this is communities same spirit and same supplies and this thing takes time, from water sources to radio comms and rules of engangment you need to prepair the community and fortifications from now in peace and prosperous times where you can find anything you need invinsible from air and thermals if you can, for furius battle with big numbers of hordes and they will be also armed forget about any armchair moms basement survival scenarios with bug out plans, you will not live more than 2-3 days community same spirit on right timing is the only solution with posibilities to survive the cannibalistic hordes |
