I'm in AZ, I can't stand cold weather so it limits where we can go. I lived in Cali in the '80's and the state was nuts then, now with the scamdemic it's completely insane. Things use to be normal and renters and landlords were happy in most places other then those giant crap holes in New York.

Only landlords have had it good for decades now. Nobody can really afford rent now with stagnant wages for two decades.

I have a former coworker who is 29 and a newlywed. She and her husband just purchased a 425,000 home on a teacher and cops salary- In Louisiana. I have no idea how they are paying the mortgage.

I have 100k equity in my home, and 15 in my Mom's home.( it's mine) I plan on selling it asap and buying a big home for my entire family. My kids are adults.

Hopefully I can get the larger home for a song once the market fails.

Had some business at a lawyers office yesterday

Another lady was in the waiting room and wanted to go ahead of our appointment- without one

She said it was important

Turns out she has squatters in her rental house and can’t get access to do renovations

It’s been TWO WEEKS since she got the police and a lawyer involved

The police WILL NOT SERVE THE WARRANT because of “Covid”

One police department is in her home district and won’t go to where her rental is t serve the warrant

The one in the rental district won’t serve a warrant from another jurisdiction

The lawyer said “The courts are upholding no evictions even if they are NOT TENANTS because of Covid rules” so the police just keep pointing fingers at each other in delay

Meanwhile, they are trying to get the Sheriffs department to serve the warrant. The lawyer thought that would be the “ best bet if ANYONE WOULD SERVE AN EVICTION NOWADAYS”

So the lady NEVER LET THESE PEOPLE ON HER PROPEY- they BROKE IN - and she didn’t know they were there until her carpenter could not get in to do work - that’s why it was empty - it needed some renovations

The lawyer told us after the lady left - “This is becoming more and more common - squatters - and the police won’t put them out “

I have a former coworker who is 29 and a newlywed. She and her husband just purchased a 425,000 home on a teacher and cops salary- In Louisiana. I have no idea how they are paying the mortgage.

I have 100k equity in my home, and 15 in my Mom's home.( it's mine) I plan on selling it asap and buying a big home for my entire family. My kids are adults.

Hopefully I can get the larger home for a song once the market fails.
